hi i need help quick....my dad is going to buy me another guitar and i wanted a smaller guitar. im caught in between the little martin lxk2 and the lx1...if anyone has played both and prefers one over the other please reply about the two guitars
I take mine to the beach and the montain, it get wett with rain and take a lot of sun sometimes, i had also a beer related accident :-), and the guitar is just like new, i love mi Martin LXK2, i installed a bob Colosi bone britch and is so much better now, very loud for the size
@Qlaws612 It Looks like Koa. It a laminated wood with Koa Pattern. this is Part of Martin's X series LXK2 Nice sound these little Martins I have a bigger version of these little X series.
got mine today. honestly, the size is much smaller than expected. specially for me.... but the sound is nice and warm. hard to hold without strap though..
this is a little Martin, the scale is smaller and is much easier for small hands.. it is cheap instrument and it is a proper real instrument.. the sound quality is realy good... try one...
Hi, if it's any help - I tried the Little Martin and the Baby Taylor. The Martin looked better and looked to have better construction however, the Taylor sounded better and, to my mind, played a lot better. If you're going for one of these you should try both side by side. I also noticed a lot of other manufacturers have now entered this market so worth trying them too.
no problem man just trying to help you save a buck! for a decent starter guitar id go for $150-220$ they will be good and in some areas(playability, tone , amplification, etc.) but youll truly get a feel for guitar and enjoy a higher priced one when the time comes
i also sold my baby taylor and bought a little martin! waaay better, i got the black LX
