Quarantine got better camera, better lighting, better graphic and some entertaining action scene, but these also make the whole film unrealistic, I'm not hating Quarantine I actually liked it but I prefer [.REC].

I've seen REC in Spanish, and Quarantine at the movies. Honestly, they're both the same, except for some minor differences here and there. If you've only seen Quarantine, but not REC (or vice versa), you're not missing out on anything.

For an Americanized version it is done pretty well, I quite like the fact that it's set in a different building. So even though it's the same plot, I still like the fact that there is a different atmosphere.. A darker atmosphere generated by the darker building walls and lighting, It does feel like watching REC again, but it's worth checking out =]

It's practically identical in terms of plot. A few details might be different, but a lot of it is the same. The ending is the same, considering there is a REC 2 and there is most likely going to be a quarantine 2 as well. Watching quarantine after watching rec is really just to see the differences, as you would be watching the same movie in english and with different actors.

I think that was realistic how she was acting, it was like Jessica Biel & Erica Leershen in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003). If anyone of us were in that EXACT same predictament, we'd be pissing our pants, I mean, come on, there was no way out and you're trapped in there with those things. Her screaming didn't bother me that much.
