Hey man, I go to UCA too. What did you think of the candle light vigil? I thought it was severely disappointing. They didn't say a thing about those who had been murdered and only stated that UCA is a safe place and then really shunned anyone who wasn't Christian. We came together as a community, sadly UCA doesn't consider non-christians part of said community.
Exactly what did they say about the victims then? Also, after announcing that there would be a prayer vigil what did they do at the official candlelight vigil? Gave prayer and sung amazing grace.
I'm also a student here and was also on campus at the time. They weren't forthcoming with information to those of us actually here, which made the experience a bit more paranoid than it probably could have been.
Im in the uk following news reports on uca shooting as my son is a freshman there,thoughts and prayers are with you all,tighter security,metal detectors, stop and search anything to increase peace of mind and safety
also one of my friends is in the hospital becauseof a richochet she is ok though also we are praying i got a prayer chain going out to you and all of uca students. any prayer needs text me at 8708343721
I couldn't even use my phone while this was going on. AT&T couldn't handle it. It was crazy. During the lockdown, many of us were trapped in the library and had to get police to escort us back to our dorms.

My brother goes there... he's in A-Hall right by where it happened...
He said he heard the shots but thought it was something like a car backfiring or fireworks..
That's just crazy that it happened right next to him...

Not between National Guard. The "Party" was at the Armory off of
Exchange ave. by Airport and Kimberly Clark.
