  • TEXAS was the only state who had to ask twice to be admitted to the Union, so go for it. Or just get annexed into mexico and improve both countries.

  • OMG I HAVE THAT SHIRT AT 16 seconds

  • @NoMAIG That's funny. I've never seen anything but nice and laid back people in Austin, so if you ran into cocky ass cowboy fags......you probably went to a gay bar. Stillwater....can't say anything about it other than "at least it's not Norman". The people are nice...really no different than Austin. Just not near as fun as Austin.

  • And lets not forget...Somewhere Down in Texas...Pretty much sums it up. <3 Go JB!

  • Boland is from OK. But heis ALL texas country...Sorry, but Texas country is rooted to the original Out Laws and Boland has been likend to Waylon many times. The influence is just all over JB, but, yes Texas country and Red dirt blend quite well. Texans will say Texas country and Okies will say Red dirt, but it is like salt and pepper they go well together. God Blees Texas..Ok is ok too lol

  • Everyone go get Bob Childers entire catalog of music including Ride For The Cimarron produced by Jason Boland and the Staggelers! Do not pass go, do not collect $200! The Godfather of RED DIRT!

  • I mess with Texas on a daily basis! Stillwater runs deep!

  • WHO ARE THE TWO DUMBASSES THAT DISLIKED? DUMB!

  • @NoMAIG the fact that they call stillwater oklahoma "little austin," just implies that austin is a greater town then stillwater, and I wonder where austin is.. Oh wait! Its in TEXAS!!!

  • oklahoma has made more country artists then texas.

  • @ksportsp thats pretty much as false as it gets...

  • I think its safe to say that everyone here owes Jason Boland a beer..

  • This song never gets old. Great song, makes me want to go dancing, sadly stuck in the North. All you TX vs OK people need to get over it. good music is good music TX and OK both produce real great country. Stop fighting amongst yourselves and realize the enemy is Nashville and Hollywood.

  • @kenzadelphia

Very true, couldn't have said it better my friend.

  • who gives a shit about the states just quit arguing and enjoy good music

  • Boland is great and we in the rio Grand Valley like his music...But Pat Green is the King as well as Fowler...

  • @MrFasteddiep those are two fine country artists, but they ain't no Robert Earl Keen!

  • Oklahoma started out as part of TEXAS ,,then we let her go ,and thats a good thang.

  • @NoMAIG Then Oklahoma has a pretty big nutsack. But seriously, if Texas decided to become its own country, we'd do just fine without the rest of the U.S. and we'd be better off.

Can't say the same for Oklahoma.

  • @southtexasredneck amen man!

  • @southtexasredneck You'd get overrun by drug cartels in like a year.

  • @southtexasredneck have to be joking

  • Then why does JB have a song that goes If I EVER get back to OKLAHOMA gonna nail my feet to the ground?...

  • @loggs6913 that doesn't mean anything. We all know the band is from Oklahoma.

The fact is Texas and Red Dirt country go hand in hand.

Yes, Boland is from Oklahoma. No one is arguing that.

  • @loggs6913 you need to respect my good friend jason i have known him since he used to play the wormy dog saloon in stillwater oklahoma where i was born and raised

  • @loggs6913

hey oklahoma isn't that bad!!! lol

  • @loggs6913 Oklahoma is the best state to live in lived here all my life never gonna leave

  • we need more singers like Jason Boland . not this stuff they call country . In

my eyes its should all be on easy listening channels

  • dont forget nebraska, we get down on some boland to!

  • @NoMAIG Yeah, but Oklahoma is just a Texas expansion. ;)

  • anyone know who sings the song "gulf coast love" i cant find it for the life of me. Thanks!

  • Hell yeah saw them on Friday in Amarillo They Kicked ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the stars are all fallin out of the sky

The doors are all locked an the bottle is dry

so pass me the pipe ill sing you a song

the pipes cashed out so go get the bong.

    That endin is more bolandized

  • Boland chills in tx and okie. I saw this dude in ot 5 here in Texas and he is my boy. Oklahoma is full of boys who roll their joints all wrong so he came here to say whats up.

  • this song is my theme song cause the same from when my ol man grew up and when i grew up

  • I seen them at Love and War in Texas last summer... Great band can't wait to see them again. Are rodeos play these guys at all of are dances... Great times :)

  • sounds like southcentral TEXAS country music

  • This is probably my only negative you tube comment. BUT NAPTIME SLEEPY this is NOT Texas country music.

This is Oklahoma red dirt musician. PS Jason Boland is bad ass.

  • @GONECOASTALTEXAS Texas and Red Dirt go hand-in-hand. There are many bands in the Red Dirt genre that also classify as Texas, such as Jason Boland, Stoney LaRue, etc.

  • @southtexasredneck hey! Oklahoma and Red Dirt go hand in hand!!

  • @southtexasredneck don't forget casey donahew band and those guys

  • @GONECOASTALTEXAS; Whoa now there boys, you listen to Jason Boland and think this ain't Texan language then you need to move in with us, buddy. Shovel some shit in the horse barn and listen to the radio, Jason and Somewhere Down In Texas will be ringing in your ears all through the county.

  • This song speaks the truth " ..you can't cuss, you can't smoke or spit on the floor..."
