I have watched several of your videos & admire & applaud you for standing up to the facists amongst us. I've been to NYC only once when I was 13 (over 30 years ago - where does the time go?) & the two things I remember most vividly is seeing "Annie" and Grease on Broadway, & the carriage ride in Central Park. If I ever visit NYC again, rest assured I want another carriage ride.

i keep and breed horses here in ireland , we saw these horses when we visit ny earlier this year ,they are realy well looked after and in top condition, they were enjoying their walk around central park, most of these protesters no nothing about horses or their requirements ,mabe they would like the horses be left in a field eating all day ,doing no exercise and develop laminitis .

I love eating meat. People mistreat them because its easy, and to some sick some of a bitches they think its funny. Its not funny, and even the animals we eat need to be killed quickly. Pet shops do tend to get dogs from puppy mills though. Horrible places where the dogs spend their life in tiny cages, being bred over and over as the lay in their own filth, until their used up and thrown out. All so that the pet shop has cute puppies in the window.

As I have said earlier, A person can work with animals their entire life and still not know or acknowledge their natural needs and requirements. Clearly thinking that a horse could possibly be happy when made to carry humans on carriages in busy noisy traffic conditions confirms that!
Or a person could see one animal abused and assume that's how everyone treats them. I wouldn't try to prove or disprove that you saw a horse abused. It happens, I believe you. But to say EVERY carriage horse, or every DOMESTICATED horse is abused is ridiculous. If these horses were abused, I would be the first one in the outrage line. But I haven't seen ONE horse exhibit any signs of unhappiness in the videos on YouTube.
It's pretty easy to tell an abused horse. A horse isn't like an abused child or spouse, who will lie to protect their abuser. Or an abused dog who still considers their abuser to be a pack leader. No, an abused horse considers their abuser to be a predator, and they react like the prey animal they are. I've worked with abused horses, my own gelding was abused and neglected. He was withdrawl, quick to run even if he ran over me to do it. He's now my best buddy, but he still hates strangers.
I am glad these videos are online because it is blatantly obvious who is agressive. You never should be allowed to have horses in your care when you are so indifferent to what you are putting them through with all the traffic, noise and dull monotonous work.

I love eating meat. People mistreat them because its easy, and to some sick some of a bitches they think its funny. Its not funny, and even the animals we eat need to be killed quickly. Despite being human or not animals still feel pain, and that needs to be respected. Inflicting pain on something when it can't defend itself or for the simple fact it can't is cowardly. Note the author of Black Beauty Anne Sewell wrote it to make people aware of the abuse of horses. But not to completly ban the use of horses in those activitys. She contiuously mentions there are good owners and bad owners and thats a fact as well. Doing a simple, easy job everyday that keeps them in good shape, the perfect amount of exercise. Going home each night to their own safe, secure stall, to healthy, clean feed. There would be no pitbulls, or any other breed you can name if it wasn't for man. All domestic animals have been selectivley bred. for varoius qualities and uses..
The same applies to all the crops we grow, fruits and vegetables too.
The only thing you can eat that has not been selectively bred by man are wild fresh and salt water fish, wild game, wild herbs etc..

It's pretty easy to tell an abused horse. A horse isn't like an abused child or spouse, who will lie to protect their abuser. Or an abused dog who still considers their abuser to be a pack leader. No, an abused horse considers their abuser to be a predator, and they react like the prey animal they are. I've worked with abused horses, my own gelding was abused and neglected. He was withdrawl, quick to run even if he ran over me to do it. He's now my best buddy, but he still hates strangers.

These people are out of their minds. These horses are better fed than at least 50% of mankind. Perhaps they should go to Dafur or Somalia or perhaps Ethiopia and see what real suffering is all about. The thing that really bothers ne though is the fact that these protesters do not seem to have any gainful employment.

You would start protesting? You would begrudge this poor country the right to keep as few animals as they have? Deny the few children who can get it life saving animal proteins. How could you? How could you look at startving children and tell them them can't eat meat, meat that would save their life?

Are the plants not alive? Did they not have families? When you eat seeds and nuts, are you not eating infant plants?
Plants have been shown to react to emotional stimuli. Why not sentient, obviously, how do you know they are not aware? How do you KNOW they don't suffer when the harvester comes to murders them?
To say nothing for they habitat that was destroyed to create that farmland.

I have nothing against vegetarians/ vegans. They have an absolute right over what they put in their body. I would never take that right away or presume to try and force them to eat meat. On the other hand, several large groups (PeTA for example, but not the only one) have made it clear that their goal is to make it ILLEGAL to eat meat, taking away MY right to do what my body NEEDS to be healthy.

The three PETA people went to Manilla and protested outside the City Zoo. I would imagine the vast majority of people in Manilla thought they were crazy ; that is if they gave any thought at all to the protest which I doubt. Nope these people are simply too busy trying to get food to eat. Mother Teresa has an orphanage in the Tondo area; the PETA people decided that they would not protest on behalf of the starving children; nope better concentrate on the Zoo. What a laugh.

Yep they are being deported. I would imagine they had a good gander at the underbelly of Manilla in the lock up.The ex govenor of Illocos a guy called Luis Singson has a pet tiger that he keeps in a cage outside his mansion in Vigan. Lazy? You most definitely have NEVER cared for a horse if you think it's a lazy job. Any profit the driver gets come AFTER the expenses of the horses, which get higher every year.
And, by the way, just because YOU say it is a bad life for horses, doesn't mean it is! You and the thousands that agree with you vs. myself and the MILLIONS of horse people around the world? People who put billions of dollars into horses are more educated in a horse's needs than a know-nothing keyboard jockey.
