Hi Mary! The resort looked nice, it reminds me of the resort in the movie 'The Heartbreak Kid'? with Ben Stiller. And other movies too! A bit of trivia: my Hungarian Dad loved Mexican music (and also ABBA!) - How's your Spanish? Sounds like it's pretty good! So was this a bunch of friends arranging to meet in Mexico - or did you hear about the gathering and decide to join it? Most of my YT friends are from the USA, so I'd get the most out of a gathering over there. Overall, was Mexico good?

Yes the resort was great. We had a wonderful time. It was actually a gathering that I heard about. Originally there were about 20 or so people that signed up, but only 7 went. I have been to Playa many times, and it is one of my favorite vacation spots...
