  • Nice work!! I really enjoyed watching your video, your drumming is phenominal. I've been practicing more odd time signatures, 5/4 and 7/4 have been my main focus, and i've been practicing alot more on R&B, Funk, and Jazz, however, after watching you play.......I think I need more practice. *lol*

  • AWSOME!!

  • Cool! Glad I could help! Greetings from the UK!

  • hi! great sound man! is that a td9kx? a would like to buy one! I have 1 question, does the module support a new snare pad? like the 12'' roland PD 125BK if I like?

  • @fanculoate Thanks for your positive comments! I would highly recommend a TD-9KX. Regarding the PD125BK... yes, you can use this with the TD-9KX. Please note though, that while the TD-9 module supports 'rimshots' and 'sidesticking' with this pad, it does not support 'positional sensing'. That facility is module-specific and only works on the current TD-12 and 20.

  • @MisterMR44 ok thank you very much for your explanations!!!! and keep playin' like that! greetings from Rome!

  • I feel like I'm playing sega genesis

  • That was NUTS! AWESOME job!!!!!

  • Very nice! 5* from me!

  • you da man....smooth as bro.

  • I have watched many of your videos and I have to say that I love the way you play, you have a great musicality. I plan to buy a TD-9 soon (though I'm not a drummer, but a bass player...)

    Keep On Groovin' ! :)

  • Great Drumming!!!

Outstanding beats you've got in your videos. Keep it up.

  • Awesome feel you have!! Great playing. Tasty fills. Nice job.

  • real drummer and real drumming. It's a pleasure hear you!

And for a potential td 9 buyer i feel happy to see that, the td 9 do a great job, even with so many details you put in your playing.

  • Hey man, great playing. I see from your blogs etc you like the difficult time signatures. I used to do a lot of orchestral stuff and time signatures were tough at times but once your in it then all comes good. Like your channel, got some real good stuff on there.

  • You can only import WAV files into the module (using USB memory to transfer). The TD-9 isn't mp3 compatible so you would need to convert the file format to WAV or use an external mp3 player through the TD-9 stereo audio input.

The music you are hearing is a drumless sequence. It's not possible to mute drums on a full mp3 track using the TD-9.

  • your module is connected to your computer and you import mp3 files in the td-9 module, or it's something else?

Can you shutdown the drum on mp3 files??

  • nice drumming nice track.

  • Nicely done. I can barely count this tune, much less play to it. Thanks for giving me an example!

  • yes yes ★★★★★!! ♪ good job

  • Sorry, I have one more question..

How do you mixing video & audio

Use some program(vegas n so on...)

or use camcoder's MIC IN ??

  • I'm Korean TD-9kx user.

    Always enjoyed your video..

    So nice !

  • As always with your videos: great pleasure and fun to watch! And inspirational, too!

It's FAR beyond my capabilities as a drumming beginner but I need those audio-visual targets on the horizon for my motivation. :-)

I can already play to Genesis's "Afterglow" (but that's easy) and partly to Earth, Wind & Fire's "That's the way of the world" -- great fun! :-) Lovin' it!

Today in the evening is my 2nd drum lesson! I'm eager to learn more! Maybe sometime I'll play as good as you! ;-)

    Take care! :-)

  • Hey, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed my video and that you're enjoying your drumming!

  • Master, I recently bought roland td9-kx i'm fascinated with it ,and also use their videos as an instructor, regards.

  • Thanks!! but, that music can not mute drum sound? just mp3 file ?

    Sorry.. i'm a freshmen TD-9KX..T.T

  • Yes, it's just an mp3 file... so unfortunately, it doesn't have the same muting functionality as the internal songs in the TD-9 module.

  • Hey, it's GOooooood!!

    Where you download this music?

I can't find the music file in ROLAND homepage..

  • Thanks! I've included the download address in the video description.

  • really cool stuff, i actually plan on doing some drum covers of my own very soon just waiting for my 14' crash to come in =)

its really hard to play in odd time signatures and u played it like a pro. good job.

oh and does it affect the crashes if their on too tight on the stands? i heard they break easily if their too tight. does that include roland drums?

  • Thanks for you your positive comments Deco!

Roland cymbal pads are pretty durable. Just treat them like a regular acoustic cymbal and they'll be fine.

  • Wow great feel, technique, very smooth!

    10/5

  • Right on another great drummer! Those two who commented below me are my homeboys! Great job on this dude! I like your style!5*****

  • Thanks! LubeDude!

  • Very cool, buddy. 5 stars for that one. NOW, if I could, I'd give you 5 additional stars for that extra little babbe-deeblab at the end -- I found that funny, because I like to do those too.

  • Thanks Herl! I've always wanted to know what to call those endings... and now I have it:- 'Babbe-DeeBlab'!!! Hee hee!!

  • Hey Martin, that's a great name for those endings. How did you come up with that?

  • Geee... I really don't know... It kinda just came to me...!

  • WOW !!!!

man that was great funky-sexy-like flirting around a woman !! hehe

    5***** buddy

  • Ha ha!! Now that was funny!!
