it is far too over designed, seeing as you already have circular weights, you can make rollers, rollers can be placed into cemicular-rounded holes made of tubular metal, or drilled and filed into a plastic/wood disk. this disk can be placed on a stand, a nudge will then move the rollers to the outside on one side, and towards the inside on the other.

Peter, I like what you are trying to do. I believe you need springs in your design to make this work. Great project either way. I would put torsion springs where the weights pivot.

I wish I had your building skills, but seriously, stay away from gravity wheels. It's a really hard to accomplish >100%. So far, I've yet to see someone that even comes close to 90%.

i will give you props on the build. very nicely done. but if you want any hope of discovering anything new. I would stay away from gravity wheels, (yes there is hope in efficancy by useing electromagnets to move the weights, but not OU) and spend that skill and money you have on something new and never tried, an idea of your own, dont waste it on proven fakes/scams. but still great work on the build.
