  • my god good job u little guys

  • Both the soloists are good, but the soprano is superb!!

  • Do you know the names of the soloists pleade? bertusdejonge

  • que linda pieza musical, las voces de estos niños son de angeles

  • Molt ben cantada, felicitats.

  • After viewing these wonderful pieces, I recently bought the digital album. The title is Un noel catalan, and the boys belong to the Maitrise de Radio France.

Unfortunately, the track "Beata viscera" is faint. It's like it came from a distance, and I sorely miss the colour of the voices, which is clearly heard here on youtube. I wonder what happened. Maybe they edited it to remove noises, but the flavour went away, too. So sad.

  • Beautiful I loved it. More please.

  • I visited Montserrat twice, it was wonderful. I bought discs of exquisite music. I especially enjoy the Ave Maria by Anselm Ferrer. For me it is exceptional choral piece. Well balanced and overflowing with dedicated emotion. Every blessing to all of those concerned

  • Perfektes Duo.

Einer der besten Alt-Stimmen, die ich jemals gehoert habe.

One of the best alto-boys i've ever heard

  • Perfektes Duo.

Einer der besten Alt-Stimmen, die ich jemals gehoert habe.

  • Which choir is it?

  • is amazing wooow congratulations

  • I haven't heard a boy soprano as good as that blonde kid in a long time. Usually boys have a certain hesitation and "unpolished" feel that comes with the lack of experience... almost none of that here. A natural singer.

  • Is that nice!

  • respect!!!!!!^^

  • so beautiful!! wondeful children! thank you so much for posting

  • c'est magnifique

  • what is this choir? its good!

  • C'est la Maîtrise de Radio-France

  • Excellent material here. Exceptional singers and musicians. Thanks for posting.

  • They are such Angels at this age

  • So well rehearsed!!! 5/5

  • Bravo, les deux chanteurs! - Vous méritez une très bonne carrière!

    Bonne chance!

  • Wow, how much more official can it get?

  • I think the lyric is something like this: Alto: Beata dicera, parere vintini. qui portaverunt, eterni Patris Deus. Soprano: Et beata ubera, Qui lactaverunt, Christum Dominum. And then the same thing in duet. Only the alto sings 'Deum' instead of 'Deus' at the end.
  • @gerdienr86, thank you for your help. May I go one step further? To me, it sounds like they are saying:

    Alto:

    Beata viscera

    Mariae Virginis

    quae portaverunt

    aeterni Patris Filium

    Soprano:

    Et beata ubera,

    quae lactaverunt

    Christum Dominum

  • @salbertrand Yes! You are so right!

  • The alto does a wonderful job with a part that sounds a little low for his voice. The soprano does a bang up job! This is very very nice. Who are they and where do they come from?

  • what an inspirational singers!!! they are both superb!!!

  • Awesome. The soprano sings especially well. His voice reminds me Jean Baptiste Maunier

  • Maunier's voice is not as solid and powerful as this soprano. This boy has a very strong presence and is not self-conscious when performing. Just perfect.

  • The soprano is really good

  • Oui vrai, il maîtrise très bien sa voix, profonde et ronde.

  • I love listening to this song and have done it over and over. Would you please post more from this concert and if you have more on these choristers I would appreciate it very much.

  • Zerlina12: In what language are they singing? Do you have the lyrics to this song? Thanks for posting this. I love all boy choirs. I was a chorister at St. John's Cathedral.

  • I'm not Zerlina12 but I think it's sang in Latin. Does anyone know the names of the soloists?

Catalan composer and choir director of Escolania de Montserrat.

  • I think it is Responsoris de nadal
