That's what I miss the most from today's games: A good soundtrack. Except from castlevania and some other rare exceptions, modern games lack this emotional, well crafted music... If it was not the soundtrack, I wouldn't even remember some games. Zillion rocks.

Zillion was one of the Sega Master System games that I didn't play when I was a child. I'm still gonna play it and remember my 6~7 years old and now I'm 19. I'm from Brazil and I thank Tec Toy to bring the SMS here(and still some exclusive games or translated)

It was actually a promotional tie-in when Sega sponsored the anime at the time, even though there were no Sega Light Phasers sold in Japan. (There were laser-tag systems released by Sega in Japan, however, that looked like the Light Phasers and were sold as Zillion merchandise.)

When Sega pulled their sponsorship money from the show, [SPOILER] the guns were changed, contradicting a plot element having to do with being unable to modify the Zillion Weapon System.

I love this game and its music. It's a pity most people outside Japan don't know it. I played it when it came out in +/-1988, barely understanding what it was about (I had the Japanese version and as a child I didn't know English anyway). I'm 30 now and once in a while I load it up in an emulator and play it again.

I love this game! It has so much memories. Memories when I was a child..Memories of the past..Nice memories..I remember when I played this game every evening with my father. These were GOOD games. Today it's just graphics..
