  • bravo pero falta el "toque" tanguero, probá con tocar más al talón y no tan en el medio del arco (se parece a cualquier compositor romántico)

    Saludos desde Argentina

  • To herrlenin: Recommendation: play without sheet music.

  • Excellent Job! very expressive Violin, and the guitarist did a terrific job as well. I am doing this piece with a flutist ( I am a guitarist) and find the page turns very annoying.Any recommendations?

  • A tango is meant to be an expression of passion, of fire, of love - this performance doesn't inspire passion in me at all. The violinist is, at least, putting some effort in, but the guitarist is playing like a corpse. These guys clearly did not train in Argentina - I would guess they learned their trade in my native Germany, or in some tax haven brimming with accountants and passionless people. I am sorry, but the guitarist especially should not give up her day job.

  • wow!!!!!! :) i love it so much. im doing it on the saxophone for my grade 8.only just started learning it. It sounds amazing though :)

  • @jenzmcjenjen YES! I agree it is a great piece! Thanks for the kind words....and practice hard everyday. There is a sound that you get when you practice very slowly and accurately everyday that you can't get if you skip a day here and there..

  • I love Tango.

    Mi Buenos Aires...

  • great

  • Oooh thank you for that! ^___^

    you're both amazing!

  • Excellent! great sound and felling!

  • feeling, feeling hahaha

  • Miss Louise, its great to see you on youtube. Its a really nice composition. And well played by both of you. Thanks for the concert and workshop. Hoping to see many more videos from you.

  • Technically great, but would love to hear a bit more passion from the guitar..

  • FYI, the guitar is JUST an accompanier in here ... NOT the violin's competitor.

    OK?

  • In this particular piece, the guitar should NOT be considered just an accompaniment.

When I said more passion I meant play with more sensitivity, so that it does NOT sound like it is competing with the violin all the time!

  • jawdim is right. I do agree with his assessment. The two should complement each other more, I guess that's the word we should be looking for. It is definitely not an accompaniment to the voilin.

  • I've always wanted to play these, but I could never find a acoustic guitarist who would be willing to play this. Great job though, this sounds great!

  • majestic.....so real...so beautiful

  • Just Wonderful! I also really like your input into the violin2 Tan Dun piece!!! You are a great musician!!!

  • Hi, and thanks for this version of the piece. One of the best I've hard, especially the formal disposition of the piece. And it's even better on the violin than the original flute. Check out my guitar arrangement of El Entrerriano. I'm also preparing a version for violin and guitar. Once again thanks. Klas Wounsch, guitarist
