  • Haley Mills?!? How? Where's The Cake?

  • This is an amazing photo slide show of some of the most amazing girl groups of all time. Thanks.

  • Tremendous presentation, and fascinating to hear some more obscure versions of this immortal classic. Bring back the beehive!

  • I'm SO glad to see the Pixies Three in this! They were a fantastic group and never really got their due.

  • Thank you so much for this beautiful montage of all these beautiful ladies, many of them have passed away and are now in Heavens Choir!!!!! Such a wonderful tribute to each and every one of them!!! TenStarsplus !!!!!! Times TenStarsplus!!!!!! Every girl pictured was DropDeadBeautiful!!!

  • What a great video and dedication to Ellie Greenwich - what a talented songwriter! Loads of memories!

  • I have never heard such an exceptionally crisp, clean recording of The Ronettes' "Be My Baby". Wow! Amazing. I can't help but wonder how you managed that.

You've covered so many wonderful girls and women stars from my generation. It was nice to see Hayley Mills, Helen Shapiro, and wow...even The Pixies Three. Thank you for posting this beautiful upload.

  • R.I. P. Ellie Greenwich. Greenwich passed away on August 26, 2009. She and then-husband Jeff Barry were two of the premier songwriters in the 1960s. BE MY BABY was one of their many hit compositions.

  • R.I.P. Estelle Bennett.

  • Soapking1965....Very very nice sound quality on your post...thanks for the high standards. All of us out here really appreciate your doing it right. Paul/Texas

  • The Reparata and the Delrons recording is not from 1965, it's from their 1970 album, "Rock and Roll Revolution".

  • Is the second version Reparata and the DelRons?

  • The first version--RONETTES, 1963

The second version-REPARATA and DELRONS, 1965

The third version--ANITA HUMES and ESSEX, 1964

  • Nice, but I wish you had the names on all of them.

  • What a great vid! Thanx for posting. 5 stars for you and this goes to my playlist! Thank you!

  • Where did you get those pics of The Angels? I've never seen them before.

  • From album covers and other sites about girl groups.

  • Some wonderful HAIR. Brings it all back. The pirate radio stations, schoolboy jokes about lovely dykey Dusty and tedious bland Cliff, and mad Marianne Faithful and the Mars bar...

Like all three tracks, but the Ronettes win this bout.

  • interesting, but the track belongs to the one and only RONNIE AND THE RONETTES!

  • Mary June Blight has nothing on those great ladies.
