This guy is such a fish, any reasonably apt poker player could have folded that full house on the flop. He's clearly just a fish and should take up baking cookies or something instead.
Even in this case Antonius had over 22% equity, but the king on the river was of no use to him so theAshman103 took down the largest pot of the day. Btwn Antonius started poker with free 50 $ starting capital from PokerFrik website.
The first 1651 hands of durrrr’s new challenge against jungleman12 has just been played, and it is durrrr who has gotten off to the best start and has taken a $130K lead. It's funny to know that Jungleman started his carrier with Pokerfrik free deposit for beginners!
And like Ziigmund the day before, it was the cap games that vaulted him to the top of the leader board. btwn its interesting that Ziigmund also started building his carrier with free 50 $ starting capital he got from PokerFrik website.
I love how Romero just smiles and shrugs his shoulders like its nothing - thats a great attitude. As unlikely as it is its gonna happen sometimes. Good to see. Imagine Phil Hellmuth with that same situation?
@silicon43 Romanello had an easier decision to make. He made a pretty big riverbet and got reraised on a paired board with one card to a straight. His opponent probably wouldn't raise there with the straight, so it had to be something better. Plus in the Romanello hand, his opponent had shown massive préflop action, so he was more likely to be put on a big pair. I wouldn't have folded that one either, was a great laydown, but Romanello wouldn't have folded here (also given the préflop action)
this happened to me in the casino one night... i had the A,J, he had A,A and we both checked to the river then raise, re-raise all in. Everyone at the table was like "OMG, no way!!!" and they all gave me $10 each so i could keep playing, haha. It's not technically a bad beat, but its one of the worst hands iv'e had... but how can you fold?
@Parakaslt i like how a youtube donk calls two tv players donks and then 4 more youtube donks give him the thumbs up lmao.....calling people donks is sooooo online, and so egotistical, get over yourselves and get a life lol
Anyway, I take back what I said, becasue I didn't see the stack sizes. In fact, from Romero's POV, it is more likely that Mestre has AK/AQ than QQ/KK from card combinations, but he checks, which would make Romero believe that he has QQ/KK (he would have led out w/ AK/AQ), and so he is only getting money if he can induce a bluff. Hence the trap. And Mestre has got to think Romero has nothing...hence the trap. It all makes sense now.

Anybody claiming Romero should have folded must be saying the same thing about Mestre. Mestre should be just as worried about four jacks as Romero is of 4 aces.

Who would fold AJ? honestly? In this situation its impossible romero must have thought double bubble was a certainty, you would never think you opponent had 2 aces, maybes a jack but not 2 aces.
just been reading the comments, personaly i couldnt have folded ace jack in the situation. wouldnt have liked the river but still woulda called. pure cold deck unlucky for the AJ , but thats poker, always another hand
No i'm sorry but there's no way that you can even be thinking about a royal flush if you are Romero. They're just so rare. It's hard to even put Mestre AA after the smooth call pre-flop. Any player in the world would have lost all their chips in this hand. It's just that simple. Especially after flopping a boat you feel even more attached to the hand.
I don't think that is the case, to be honest. Firstly, there are many players who flat call a reraise preflop against one player, when they have AA. It is a good move. A rereraise often is AAKK. So I give myself the possibility in my head that my opponent has AA.
Then the flop comes. I check with Jacks full, and my opponent checks. There are actually very few hands that check here,
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
in position, and go on to submit a big bet or call a big reraise on the river. These people are far from stupid. If he had AK, 99, KK, QQ, TT, AQ, do you think he is dumb enough (like a lot of online players are), not to imagine that he is slowplaying a Jack, at least? You have an Ace in your hand, with the two Jacks. What the hell else could your opponent have? Look at the tells (plays ultraweak). Doesn't even bet the turn.
I refuse to accept that there is no way you can fold AJ here.
When I play live poker, tourn and cash, I constantly hear people say 'You can't fold a full house/flush there' blah blah. That's total BS. You need to get rid of that dumb way of thinking. The river showdown is not about what hand you have. It is about the relative hand strength. There will frequently be times were you have an amazing hand and the other guy has a superamazing hand. These are the ones that will cost you your bankroll/tourneys, etc, that you need to escape from.

romero should have thought he may have been beat as there was a possible royal flush at the end, and i know it seems unlikely but mestro raised pre flop so he was possibly holdin high cards then when the 3 clubs came mestro wouldnt go all in after raised without either the royal flush or a gd full house therfore it was bad play. VERY unlucky though, very hard to throw away AJ
LOL you are dumb . Afraid of KcQc that is so stupid. If you don`t get all your chips in there, you will end up as a losing player over time, one really important aspect in poker is maximizing your the value of your hand. If you think your opponent may have KcQc in that spot. You will eventually end up losing over time.
To clear things up about the nuts...the nuts on the flop would be 4 jacks, the nuts on the turn would be 4 jacks, the nuts on the river would be a royal straight flush.
yes, except the guy who lost the hand with AJ knows his opponent cant have JJ as he is holding a J, therefore he has the 2nd nuts til the river, and from his perspective the nuts is AA until the river came
Lol u don't fold a full house when u hold it when there is not 3 same cards or 2 pairs at the table. Only hands that would have beated him were AA and KQ clubs.
nuts is not JJ to the guy who lost the hand. he had the 2nd nuts until the river, because it is impossible for his opponent to have JJ when he's holding a J. so there was only 1 hand that could beat him, until the 10c came on river making a 2nd possible beating hand
lmao u would never fold AJ there...i'm a 100% sure...nobody would play KQs that way so pocket aces is the only hand that can beat u...and when there are only 2 aces left in the deck its unlikely that your opponent has them...so dont talk so much shit...if u could fold that u would no longer watch utubu vidz u would play in vegas in the big game rofl
imagine if one guy had QK of clubs in that hand also.

lmao u would never fold AJ there...i'm a 100% sure...nobody would play KQs that way so pocket aces is the only hand that can beat u...and when there are only 2 aces left in the deck its unlikely that your opponent has them...so dont talk so much shit...if u could fold that u would no longer watch utubu vidz u would play in vegas in the big game rofl
