Even if by some Godly miracle Anette would be able to at least sing this song correctly, who cares. I can name at least 3 cover bands able to sing this song perfectly (van Canto comes to mind atm).

OK, I guess she 'pulled it off' on the technicals at least, and that was more than i was expecting, but her performance lacked the amount of soul that such a great 'metaphysical love song' calls for. @vickyvickyvi She just uses her head voice - it's cool, becouse she wouldn't sang this song well with the chest voice. It's not the matter of imitating Tarja, but of improving skills. It's not natural way of singing for her, but it's really good she started to use it, becouse it's easier to sing high notes with it. Ofc, the chest voice is ok, but not for every song. If the singer sings the same way all the time, it's simply boring.

Wow... Acutally I am a Nightwish fan (no matter who the singer is, I love them both for what they are). So there's no hate, it's just a fact : even if Anette is great most of the time, here it's just terrible, she is so out of tone in the high parts. I am disapointed as I especially loved her version of Wishmaster in Lyon (well, maybe not the lots of tremolos she does in all songs, too much for me...), I expected more for this song I really love... Well this is just not a song for her voice.

mira antes de criticar tienes que saber muy bien de los Temas, no tienes que humillar a Tarja simplemente por cantar como quiere y lo que quiere, Annette es muy buena, y el entrenamiento que ha hecho recientemente de verdad que creo que puede superar incluso a la antigua cantante, pero definitivamente NW perdió la magia lo especial y lo único que tenía ahora son Buenos. Tarja por el contrario en mi opinión el estilo que tomó por ejemplo OASIS, AND our great divide es mucho mejor
