  • nice calves bud...

  • you dont need these stupid things

  • After a 12 weeks of training with those i was quicker for sure, but my vertical wasn't improved much...maybe by 1 inch or so

  • these really do work. i just got a pair for christmas and just walking around for five minutes made my calves ache

  • @MrThezood So, because your calves ache means they work? ok then......Be careful you don't screw up your achilles or you'll suffer for a year..........

  • @TheCrazyCougar Maybe you should actually try them before you start talking bad about jump soles. I have gained 2 inches in about a week and a half.

  • I tore my ACL last summer don't think balls on the bottom are safe...

  • Odd question: could you use these while doing a rope skipping workout, or would they be best used in another way?

  • @rmsolympic1 You want to screw up your achilles tendons then go ahead and try skipping rope with them............As for best use, I would recomment them as bookends if you already paid for them. If not then I would advise you not to waste your money.......

  • check out my dunks after jumpsoles!!!

  • @jerryfriend15 ...Sure it wasn't the increase in jump specific exercises themselves? Hey, believe what you want, you paid for them so might as well justify the expenditure, right?

  • To bad this is fake you jump with your core, butt.

  • i used them an they deffinitly make you explosive i would asume they could increase your vertical if you use them an work out in them with high intensity

  • Joe Alexander has the one of the highest verticals if not the highest in the NBA and hes white as snow with curly hair lol

  • Ridiculous and dangerous.

  • Guaranteed way to break your ankles.

  • SCAM!!!! calves have little to do with jumping

  • @maxandophir Tell that to the thousands of people who have used them to incrase their vertical. The Jumpsoles don't only work out the calves. Get your facts straight before experssing your biased opinions.

  • @HoopSkills ...yea and thousands who used them and it did nothing..... he's right calves have little to do with your vertical, same with every other thing it works out, you don't need these "shoes" to get a higher vertical ....... get YOUR facts straight

  • @DrewboyCCP Hey Drewboy. I'm sure you really know "thousands" of people who have used them and it did nothing. Back that up bro. We just got another testimonial yesterday of someone raving about how after using the Jumpsoles they are now dunking. Oh and be sure to remember to read posts before you reply to them. Like how in my post I mentioned that I'm very aware of the fact that increasing your vertical has a lot to do with more than just your calves. Haters are always the jealous ones...

  • @HoopSkills Hey Hoops, I'm sure you know "thousands" of people who used them too right? Sorry, they're indeed a scam and are more likely to cause injury to one's achilles tendons before increasing their verticle jump. The only way to increase your verticle is via squats and other exercises that work the quads and glutes. Walking on the balls of your feet, jumping rope and stretching out the calves on stairs will accomplish the same effect without having to spend over $100 on this product....

  • @maxandophir Yeah dude... that was about the most ignorant comment on here... The fast twitch muscle fibers that increase your vert are mostly in your calves... You should take some Anantomy and Physiology classes....

  • @maxandophir try walking 2 hours just on you're toes you will feel you're hamstrings burn

  • "working on those ligaments" LOoooooool because constant stress on ligaments makes them stronger right?

  • can i still exercise with this? i've sprained my left knee last 3yrs. can i still jump high?

  • LOLing at ignorant comments is a favourite pastime of mine.

  • yeah thats a great way to tear your achilles

  • People jump high in basketball because they're black.

  • @YungTwista08 Strange because it is impossible for slow twitch muscles to 'convert' or 'change' into fast twitch muscles. They will remain slow twitch forever.

  • its funny how he didnt even show us how high the shoes make him jump

  • 1:35 he said ballz

  • these are terrible for your heels and legs.

  • @BHP5 That's what I was thinking. Probably knees too. The average person has trouble with their knees as it is. Even ankle weights are bad for you. I at least wouldn't be training on hard pavement. Backwards running/jogging is a start.

  • holy shit ur ankle is skinny

  • @loveship123 actually like 50......

  • @loveship123 yea and when you injure yourself you'll be getting your money's worth of your health insurance...

  • Comment removed

  • fuck using those ball things on the bottom of the soles. sure, it will work your legs more and help you with balance, but if you roll your ankle on that, it will be ten times worse than a normal ankle roll

  • Heey, guys ive been dunking a lot lately. My lower back really hurts when i dunk now and after my dunk, my left leg cant stretch all the way forward when i run (left side of back hurts) if you cld tell me why of what i did, that wld be great. thanks (:

  • WTF?? 150$? They are good and everyone who used them says they're good, but 150$ is rape!!!

  • im buying these for only one reason. To step on the knobs or ball...

  • lets see that vertical.

  • fuck thats a fucked ankle waiting to happen.. did they sell even one of those?

  • @yewwtube lmao yea they've sold a lot

  • that ball for the jump sole is a GREAT way to sprain your ankle

  • @loveship123

    i did that years ago

    worked fine

  • While this helps, I think people should do it the free way. Just jumping simply increases vertical all by itself. I'm really 5'4 or so and just by jumping, I'm almost getting rim on 10'. Just jump, it's that easy.

  • The displacement balls will displace your damn ankles haha.

  • now run bitch.

  • @ElTomo11when I read your comment I immediatly pictured Roger from American Dad wearing those shoes trying to run while Stan shoots at him lol

  • man i tide a brick to my ankle

damn man not ima freakin beast im jumpin over front of cars and playing in the rookie game and being in all star games, man and it all started with a brick

  • can you really run with those also would walking on you tip toes also do this?

  • They're no PF Flyers...

  • You COULD just do plyometrics and weight lifting for FREE.

  • @commandercool1983 If u use these while doing plyos itll increase ur jump even more. I used them in high school & went from 26" vert to 36" in a few months & made IL state high jump finals. I did plyos before, but plyos with these is ridiculous. I also did weights before having jumpsoles, and kept doing them after jumpsoles workouts

However, they work best when youre a teen. I just tried them recently (in my mid-20's) and didn't get nearly the results I did when I was younger

  • VERT FREAK 101…I promise you insane results. Its @ henryreganyan dot C O M /Vertical

  • silly white people

  • I have to say its look like a woman shoe

  • Why do people make these kinda shit??? lol what you have to do to be a better basketball player is play basketball every fking day....

  • you may aswell just run around on your tip toes! why waste money! an that ball thing could break your ankle! douche!

  • you may aswell just run around on your tip toes! why waste money!

  • hater just hate o these cuz they cant afford them...get tha fuk outta here

  • I'm using jumploles at the moment.. they work great and i do shoot hoops and play basketball in them.

  • brolic calves

  • This guy definitely needs those for his non existing calf muscles

  • @jumper1294 he definitely has negative calf muscles!

  • would i be able to dunk on at least an 8-foot rim if i was 4 ft 9 inches?

  • @thefifishow11 if you are 4 feet 9 inches just go and jump...off a cliff

  • So they get mr. chicken legs to show it. Nice.

  • ur legs r really skinny... but nobody should ever play ball wit these on unless u have the intentions on most likely ending ur career

  • I'M ABOUT TO GET ONE, I WANNA KNOW PEOPLE, DOES IT REALLY WORK?

  • Im not gonna risk my legs on that, but damn his calfs look really skinny lol

  • this is how greg oden broke both his knees

  • @h0nour4ble That was so wrong lol

  • Jumpsoles work period but a good program is really the key. Personally weight training with explosion exercises is the way to go. Squats, Lunges, Box jumps & Sprints. I am keeping my exercise plan simple. I do sets of 3 with 10 reps. The third set gives you endurance. On the sprints you can do suicides 3 times, remember run as fast as you can. Stretching is just as important as anything you do. You can do these workouts with or without jumpsoles expect sprinting. Go increase your vertical!

  • this guy must see the ridiculousness of these ˝Switzerland slippers˝

  • A good workout plan and diet will help you increase your vertical. Now add the jumpsoles into the equation and you can intensify your workouts. Jumpsoles do not just workout your calf muscles. By eliminating the resting of weight into your heels, any WORKOUT that you will do is a lot better than without them. If you get hurt in these, something is wrong with you.

  • Buzz Aldrin rolled his ankle wearing these his first step onto the moon

  • great

    thanks

  • lol, play basketball with that on?! Do they also sell blindfolds for driving?

  • @Dante31 idiot, you train with them on your own, take them off, 2 days later, your legs feel stronger

  • Comment removed

  • @MatthewLabarbera He says 'play basketball in them' at 00:30, but I guess you already tried and thus were unable to catch that from the video.

  • @Dante31

Nobody ever said you play basketball with Jumpsoles on. You do exercises with them and doing so strengthens all the right muscles in the legs & calf to enable you to jump higher.

  • @HoopSkills The video explicitly says “...you can use it simply for running, jogging, walk outside, or to play basketball with…” this is directly from the video from 00:26 to 0:31

  • @HoopSkills

uhm.... the man in the video at 0:24 says you can play basketball with them on

    just fyi

  • @HoopSkills umm in the video the guy said "Or play basketball in them"

  • @HoopSkills fail u said u can play basketball with them at 0:29-0:30

  • @HoopSkills "you can use it simply for running, jogging, walk outside, or to play basketball with" yea, you kinda said it.

  • @HoopSkills The guy in the video did.......

  • @HoopSkills well whoever it is on the video says it at 0:29

  • @HoopSkills it did say to play basketball in go to 0:26 in the video and listen. That doesnt sound safe at all. good call Dante31

  • @Dante31 dumbfuck

  • @kapuchandrunk14 That's the pot calling the kettle black. I am just stating what is in the video itself.

  • Jumping is an whole leg thin calf isolation with jumpsoles just doesn't do it

  • @quinned35 thats exactly what I was trying to explain!

  • finally i can break an ankle

    yessss

  • A Lawyers Dream....

  • ankle ownage:(

This will not only roll your ankles, it would actually WORSEN your vert. By standing on your heels for a significant amount of time you'd

1)decrease the range of muscle-tendon motion you'd normally get when jumping

2)increase your slow-twitch fibers in your calves as opposed to your fast-twitch, which is what's needed for the 'eplosiveness' needed to get your vert leap

3)this would probably 'train' your stabilizing muscles, only slightly as opposed to your jumping muscles

  • @SirGodLordKing hes not standing on his heels ?

  • @sagggy32 i meant put standing like he's wearing heels, like women shoes

there are alot of products that mimic this same kind of 'put all the weight on your toes' mechanics

you need absolute full range of motion

you need to work on your flexibility first

then using your 'base' strength (the strength you have now) throughout your entire range of motion

after that you can work on power

  • lol, the knob upgrades will fuck your ankles

  • how much are those?

  • you will look like McDonald if you wear that.. #LOL

  • wow with thses things u dont NEED ALLEN IVERSON OR TIM HARDAWAY TO cross u and beak ur ankles ....THESE DO JUST FINE

  • You'll be rolling more than your ligaments, with that adapter thing on there.

  • Trust me people just do 60 calf raises and 50 squats , ive been doing it for like 6 days and I already have gained 2-3 inches on my vertical leap. You do it three days in a row then rest the forth day and to this over and over, just remember don't give up!

  • @98639816 Are you satire?? The reps you given is WAY TOO MUCH!

  • @R2FUK Maybe for regular people.

  • @98639816 INSANE . You'll not gain any strength X))!

You should do 10 reps on highest with the heaviest weight you barely do. I myself just survived 210 pounds x 4 yesterday. I got bad sleeping H and diet

  • @R2FUK I did I've gained 5 inches in two weeks.

  • @98639816 way to many! Most of your gains might come from mastering basic movements which is basic however this isn't ideal rep. 15 to 30 should be the ideal rep for movement efficiency, but as I said do the high intensity low volume plyometrics eg drop, rebound, speed hops a skip etc. The goal is to produce maximal force in minimal amount of time.. To get more out of explosiveness, you really should have just be lifting heavy.

  • @98639816

exact same thing i do. after 3 days, ive gained about an inch.

  • I mean jumperope*

  • I do squats while holding about 50lbs. It works the helll outta ya legs. But dont over do it. If your committed to working and don't get lazy. I'm sure you'll see results. But you can also jumpsoles for a min each. And do it 5x you'll also feel it then

  • Looks retarded

    and dangerous

  • ''its very easy to get on your foot!'' *takes five minutes doing complicated straps* ''fits perfectly!''

  • What version is this?

  • The Jumpsoles alone do nothing for you, if anything you have a greater chance of injury if you wear them. What makes them appear so effective is the exercise program hat comes along with the shoes. Using the jumpsoles during these exercises however is dangerous in itself. Jumpsoles isolate the calf muscle leading misconceptions that your vertical leap comes from your calf muscle. Only about 15-20% of your vertical leap comes from your calf, the rest is your core, thighs, and butt.

  • @KubiqFeet i understand what your saying. But you would be surprised. 8 years ago when i was playing basketball i had this hoop lowered in my backyard so i could try to dunk. I never could but was always so close. withint 10 minutes of wearing the soles and not working out in them, i took them off and dunked 3 times in a row. they work man.

  • @KubiqFeet Jumpsoles will not injure if you only do low intensity plyo: bounding skipping cone. It also train your forefoot reactive ability. Calf act as stabilizers and transfer force. It's included on primary jumping muscles. The glutes are the most important specially for 1 foot.

  • ha ha you said balls

  • i dont think u could run in those.... especially with the priocepters

  • hey can people comment this comment if you had this and tell me how they work? thanks.

  • looks great when your trying to pick up chicks.

  • nice!

  • Lol! ya! let's not only make them play and practice in heel's but let's also make them balance on some random ball things underneath that!

  • can you practice dunks wearing them?

  • @Slam54102 if you get jumpsoles, youre supposed to do the program that comes with it (its a mix of plyometric exercises and jumping exercises). you are not supposed to play or dunk in them.

  • its bullshit! get on a real jump program!

  • @samherbertbball931 I think these have their place. they are good for a few select workouts. I think there are more benifits in the way they put your feet in a dorsiflexed position rather than the putting the weight on ur toes. putting your calf hamstring and glutes under resistance when they are in a stretched position equals a better workout. two legged bounds these work great also with weighted lunges. other than those they are clunky.

  • i dont think i wanna play basketball with high heels on. haha

  • You might want to learn how to say "Proprioceptor".

Sorry, but these shoes are horrible.

  • lol... feel it infront of your knee? that means your hurting your patella tendon

  • jumpsoles are bad for your kneee trust me!!!

  • Wow thats some dumb shit

  • i think i'll just wear high heeled stilettos instead. same muscles working, right?

  • I dun think the calf will help your vertical mainly...

  • They are ugly, cumbersome unsightly and basically it's cheating so...

  • @seunketchup88

How do you figure it's cheating? It's not cheating at all. These are a practice tool. They are not meant to be worn in regular games.

  • @utoobmark It's cheating because we talking about practice?? Not the game, not the game we go out there and bust our asses for but....PRACK-DISS?!?!

  • @seunketchup88 it's a training aid you do exercises away from the court to benefit oncourt performance, like doing weights, using bands, doing plyometrics, or strides or bounds. They're not like wearing springs or anything, it just helps target muscles used in jumping and increases leg strength.

  • @seunketchup88 WTF are you talking about? Cheating? Oh yeah I guess all that work you put using those and running with them is cheating. Retard.

  • Jimmy likes Elaine's look.

  • well duh it makes you jump higher these add at least 3 inches lol

  • where are his calves?

  • Balls?

  • i used these for like a week and my jump improved by like 7 inches

  • knobs or balls hehehehe. immature, i know. =D

  • price?

  • @treymanpig Roughly $100

  • if your a clumsy athlete you should be using this..xD

  • i can tell these things work!, the same way you work on your cavs, this things works it the same way

  • hey its kinda of sad but i am 5'8 and i have like a 14-16 in vert... its pretty horrible lol.. can someone tell me if these strength shoes or jumpsoles will help me on my vert

  • high heels for guys lol

  • these things will make you jump inches easy within weeks, but it killed my knee caps, and there messed up now

  • i ve got them but it seems that bcoz of them i ve got injuries in my achilles and injure my ankles a lot more can someone tell it is bcoz of the jump soles ?

  • seems quite plausible

  • im 5'1 grabbing net with 2 hand, any one got tips so i can touch backboard??

  • @kevinjumpervo keep trying dawg

  • It all depends if your a 2 foot or 1 foot jumper... U reall need to work on jumping technique and explosive power! whe u watch jump training videos alot of them emphasize alot of reps... the hell with them! :P U want to do high wieght low reps and quick but controled. When your jumping ur using alot of fast twtiched muscle fibers and alot of reps doesnt not work on the fast twitch muscle.

  • ok i have a question about these i have been using them for about 2 weeks now and they dont realy burn on my calves but on my forefoot i can feel the burn is this normal?

  • I wanna buy one but I wanna know first, does it really work? and how lenght can I get for 4 month if I wear it 30min everyday?

    Thanks

  • ama tell u the truth i got my jumpsoles and im lazy az hell but i been usin em on and off inconsistantly but i didnt really gian anything if not 1 inch but i been using em for about 2 weeks but they make you so fuckin quick off your feet its amazing after 2 workouts i was getting rebounds over evryone just becuase i got up there before them and it makes u more flexible but i bet if i was commited i wud see more results

  • thks

  • @Moraud5386 i just wanna confirm guys to keep u posted that jump soles doooo workk swear on evrything i am 5,11 and i am now dunking i went to my rec center today and dunked with ease i got up there... so they doo work and u cud tell this isnt fake becuase i kept u guys posted week after week but i didnt do the workouts i ran on my tredmill uphill and i did osme tip toe squats with em and stretcching be unique with jumpsoles the workouts are garbage do your own thats all i can say

  • i have size 17 shoes would they fit

  • You supplement with whey and creatine. 150 $ for barbell is already 300 pounds. I'm not sure at the squat rack, you might get it somewhere at wall mart, the ones where you can adjust the stand.

  • i cant toucvh the rim still yet im almost 29yld 5ft8 with shoes on standing reach is 7ft1 i believe i get 3 to 4 inches away on a running vertical just cant seem to do it i love to jump though i practise jumping in my garauge every other night i practise single legs an double legs as well

  • these do not work i used them for 3 months not a single inch im almost 29yld if your struggling like me to jump higher i highly suggest anabolic steroid compound ANAVAR along with a good lifting program an lots a plyo boxes

  • You should know that this is a gimmick. Other than that, it can cause you injury when doing high intensity jumps. You can buy squat rack and a barbell firsthand at Academy but it cost 300 dollars.

  • i love ballsacks in my mouth!

  • looks like u can roll your ankle any minute

  • @eklnix no no they actually make you almost injury proof. your calves get so strong that you feel invinsible.
