You know right at the start of it when you found the stick and cobblestone? You could have made a lever to open the door rather than kill the pig, now you can't get the right ending.

You know, Notch made a good idea for turning down fire a little. But, many of the puzzles before the update involves burning things, like this one. If it's not updated yet, the wool will burn up to the roof, where sands will start to fall and make stairs.
