If you have preconceived negative ideas and feelings about letting your emotional guard down in a relationship, then yeah, you will never be in a relationship- at least a serious relationship. But remember, BOTH people have to take the chance and open up, letting their guard down.

It doesn't always work out, but in many cases it does. You just have to be willing to be brave enough and bold enough to take that chance.
