...Ton of potential,I'm into freestyle weapon demonstration have been for about 12 years..you look like you could go with some firetwirling , get the andrenaline pumping and actually enjoy what your doing ,you'll blow people of there feet one day just keep it up...
ok so the spins are decent for a blue belt. but the stances need some major improvement, and when I say that, well... you don;t show ANT foot work in the whole form. good luck, ps i was a judge for NASKA at the battle of Atlanta
very flashy... definitally a exbihition kata. in that sense it's good. as said before, really need to work on those kicks. they're probablly one of the more effective techniques you'll use in sparring.
Tell me reply to this guys tell me where you get bo staffs from I've been using a broomstick doing pretty well and calling it a.... (drum roll) "Stick" tell me what you use for bo staffs
lots of good spinning, swift moves, but this video being tagged with the word "kenpo" is probably why people are saying you need to work on your stances and form overall. Presented in a competition as a kata, this demo would probably not get good scores, but as a demo to show off your skills, I liked it...
I'm gonna have to agree with ayame87. You've got the moves, but you need to really work on your stances. Make your strikes more decisive, and extend your kicks all the way. It looked like you just let the jump front snap kick and tornado kick hang in the air, and then drop to the ground. Put more snap into your kicks.
oh, gawd... i feeel like crap on a bo staff now....cus theres lots of people ive seen with the lighter ones, but mines heavy... but im still good at it...casn you make a vidio on the steps for yours?
tahts pretty good man. i learned this mvoe where you do a shoulder roll and you lift up your shoulder as your about to grab it and it rolls across your neck..its tight
I challenge you to a duel. My backyard at 10. Saturday.

You did fine, your doing great and no, your not stiff, your stances are fine, your kicks arent. :P
Im working on my kicks to pull off the kick/twirling atm, you should too.
But your twirling, throws and spins are awesome. Keep it up

you look so stiff. like you dont even want to do it. you should really get into. otherwise youll look stupid.

You need to work on your stances, transitions, and your power. Also if you added some kiai's here and then it would be better.
