There is absolutely nothing new and innovative about this amp! Everything about it has already been done--and better--by someone else. And, dude, who wants to lug around a 57lb amp......plus an extension cab?? You gotta' be kidding!
Yeah ur right... That's probably why Piazza , Gruenling or Estrin don't see ur picture by carrying big HarpKings all over the world and sounding so bad. I guess they should be asking YOU on what to play next and start carrying a little pignose amp instead!!
I could not have said it better myself, I played through the Wezo 45 and met the two DOCTORS OF TONE behind this wonderful amp. I can't wait to get mine.
Wow. That amp sounds super! As does Dave. Good marriage. Congrats and great luck on the amp. Boy I wish I had the scratch to bring one to the east coast. My best. d
Alumni from Phoenix a couple years back. Probably shouldn't use the word "feedback" when talking about an amp. .... Just kidding it sounds great! btw I still think about those concepts I gleaned from your workshop on harmonica soloing from Phoenix
Great choice Dave! This is a really beautiful amp that stands out ! After hearing this at your school, in the Masterclass jams and concert, and now your endorsement, it is clear this amp can be as crunchy as a 100 year old banjo player high on shine or as smooth as Al Green in his prime. Thanks for alerting us to this one. It's gonna be hard for me to resist. ...honey, I sold the kids, but check out this hot number!
The Wezo 45 rocks! You don't have to be a pro like this guy to get an awesome sound. You can be a hack like me and still sound like you know what you're doing. Priceless.
I agree. This is a great amp. I used it in a lesson with Dave and I was amazed at the tone quality. Whatever they have done to present the tone with this level of bass response that doesn't require the tight hand-cupping to get that classic blues sound is just awesome.
Always mic an amp, no matter the size. Getting the amp off the ground helps. Ask to have some of the harp through the monitors to hear yourself better. Another option is to use two amps at the same time. Mic your best sounding amp and use the other to give you more volume on the bandstand. The second amp doesnt have to be good, its just to get you loud enough to play. If youre using any type of distortion, turn it off... distortion equals feedback. Also turning up the treb and mid will help.
Thanks for the great information. One last question. Do you play in front of the amp, in back, or as far away from the speaker as you can get. Most videos shows playing in front of the amp.
Great sounding amp. I gig with a loud band and I have to play my harp through the PA in order to be heard. Any suggestions on using small amps with loud bands?

Dale and his crew from Megatone Amps are the most coolest, knowledgeable and HONEST people I know in this business .
They would really help you to get the best tone out of your amp and that, I believe, it means A LOT on these days.!!
