That dog is a pussy, that is not how a beagle in N.Ireland/Republic Ireland would act around birds. I remember my late springer spaniel caught a dead seagull at the beach and carried it the remainder of his walk up and down the beach, only putting it down to better his grip and had to fight it out of his mouth when we were leaving, then this woman came along with her 2 beagles had a chat with her and they went for the seagull my dog had to drop and teared it to bits.
