There's big differences in the way the chorus is sung amongst the fact that the main verses sound NOTHING like the verses in 2NE1's song. The "I don't care eh eh eh eh" part is close knit together, while Lionel Richie's skips one in between and is much slower. The beat also sounds different, while 2NE1 has a more upbeat sound to it that you could dance to, this is a reggae style song you could just relax to.
They attacked Big Bang for plagiarism too. I don't understand why its okay for american musicians who steal songs completely and get away with it. Like that one song by Jason Derulo: Whatcha Say, he totally stole the chorus from Imogen Heap and he's making a ton of money off it.

i have perfect pitch and singing along with it, only certain chords work. the feel is similar, but over all the key and chord progressions only have 1-2 chords similar ish. overall a lot of sounds will similar because a lot of stuff has been done before, its hard to be original nowadays. not everything in the world has been plagarised just because it sounds similar.

i have perfect pitch and singing along with it, only certain chords work. the feel is similar, but over all the key and chord progressions only have 1-2 chords similar ish. overall a lot of sounds will similar because a lot of stuff has been done before, its hard to be original nowadays. not everything in the world has been plagarised just because it sounds similar.

i don't think heart breaker was plagiarized. it was merely about 5 secs that sounded like right round. it was probably just a coincidence.
as for butterfly, it really does sound like oases so i'm not commenting on this one. i rather just wait until YG release a statement on it.

Come on. If 2NE1 really did plagiarise, Lionel Richie deserves compensation, but it obviously isn't the case here. If THIS becomes the basis for plagiarism, it's gonna set a precedent for a hell of a lot of plagiarism cases in the future for even the most tenuous, accidental resemblances. I say 2NE1 is safe.
