NJ has the best skimboarding I have ever seen. This is where I got into it. My damn state has banned it so I can never get good at it. I want to learn but I can't. I just masters the ground 180 then they banned it. This makes me feel a little better and the fact I just skimboarded in my backyard helps too.

if your looking for a decent board, it will run you no less than 300, if your looking for a board you will actually be able to enjoy a wave ride, you should spend no less than 375, and honestly usually it will run you at least 425. I highly recommend going with a pro model from zap, exile or victoria, which will no doubt run you minimum of $425.

There's a few different types of skimboard, I'm guessing what they're using there is a fibreglass one and it's more buoyant than the wooden ones, therefore making it possible to do things that are impossible on a wooden board

How can you "hold a ride more than 1 wave" while surfing? What does that even mean? Skimboarding and surfing are two different sports. Most of these people in the video do BOTH. And just watch a video of the pros skimboarding the Wedge in California and tell me that's "child's stuff" I skimboard and surf. A lot of the time it depends on what beach I'm at, and what the waves/tides are doing. They're both a lot of fun.
