Two of the original members of 3eB left the band because of property issues with him. From what I understand, he's a real jerk. But he's a great singer/songwriter, that's for sure. My worthless opinion is: Stephan Jenkins needs to apologize big time to Kevin Cadogan, restore to him his half of the band ownership, and beg him to come back in. 3eb just hasn't been the same without Kevin, and the two of them together back in the band would put 3eb back in the spotlight and at the top of the charts -- no doubt about it!
@Sceptorful That's a hard question. I definitely would not *unless* he agreed to give me back, completely, one-half of the total business. I doubt extremely that Jenkins would ever do that and I would not expect Kevin to go back in any case as that bridge has already been crossed.

When I'm at my lowest, this is the song I go to, and somehow I don't feel so alone or lost. I call up my local radio station, not a rap/techno playing one, but a station that plays like alternative/soft rock whatever, and I request third eye blind songs that haven;t made their way to radio yet. So far, and successfully, I've had my local station play Losing A Whole Year, DARKNESS (long song for the radio, but i was ecstatic when they played the whole thing), and Thanks A Lot. Darkness = Best off blue, no questions asked. Although that's hard for me to say because I like a lot of songs on Blue. As one of you said, it captures human emotions in such a grand manner. The song is just epic.

this may be nerdy but i was playing nazi zombies on call of duty. and all my teammates died on me, and this song came on random and like 30 zombies surrounded me and i managed to get out somehow and i ran and ran and ran and i turned on the electrical fence and a blood was everywhere and everthing was burning and the solo from this song started and i ran for it again and a bigass horde came at me and i died instantly and the outro came on and i was laughing my ass off. timing was amazing

The outro is what makes it so great. The song is fabulous, but the outro just made it ridiculous. As in, ridiculously amazingly unbelievable. I just almost can't believe it. The sound at the end of the song reminds me of walking down a street at night, in the middle of no where, looking up at the moon in November

you might say hes not great at guitar or he cant play arpeggios 90 mph but when you figure out how to put all your emotions through your music, i think thats what being a good guitar player is
i AGREE. I obviously prefer Kevin over Tony. There's just something about Kevin's uncommon ability to phrase a song and sustain notes like Gilmour that separates him from most guitarists of his generation. I play the violin (& piano) and I feel like Kevin is playing the violin on the guitar. It's quite a musical experience for me. I don't know how else to describe it.

Darkness = Best off blue, no questions asked. Although that's hard for me to say because I like a lot of songs on Blue. As one of you said, it captures human emotions in such a grand manner. The song is just epic.

whether some of their more popular songs are considered commerical or not, all of their songs have amazing lyrics that have deeper meaning (except for the scooby do cover haha) so who gives a shit if theyre popular-theyre great!

So glad someone put this up. I firmly believe that if they had released this song with an actual video after the success of "never let you go", that this would have been a HUGE hit and the album would have had better sales. This song captures the power of human emotions and is just so moving. Love it

I always liked third eye blind. Too bad there's only like two songs they every play on the radio. Semi charmed and who's it gonna be. Good songs sure, but they did a lot more then that.

this may be nerdy but i was playing nazi zombies on call of duty. and all my teammates died on me, and this song came on random and like 30 zombies surrounded me and i managed to get out somehow and i ran and ran and ran and i turned on the electrical fence and a blood was everywhere and everthing was burning and the solo from this song started and i ran for it again and a bigass horde came at me and i died instantly and the outro came on and i was laughing my ass off. timing was amazing

The outro is what makes it so great. The song is fabulous, but the outro just made it ridiculous. As in, ridiculously amazingly unbelievable. I just almost can't believe it. The sound at the end of the song reminds me of walking down a street at night, in the middle of no where, looking up at the moon in November

@Storm88000 The outro is my favorite part of the song as well. It has such a sad, gloomy, kinda...um...drowsy sort of tone to it, one that kinda sweeps you away...and it pisses me off that I've been playing guitar for 15 years and I still can't figure out how to play that part! Lol

i AGREE. I obviously prefer Kevin over Tony. There's just something about Kevin's uncommon ability to phrase a song and sustain notes like Gilmour that separates him from most guitarists of his generation. I play the violin (& piano) and I feel like Kevin is playing the violin on the guitar. It's quite a musical experience for me. I don't know how else to describe it.
