This is HORRIBLE. why would they take somthing as a story as sacred as the bibles stories and literally take it apart and change it? Im not meaning to offend anyone, but as a christian, this is just wrong. . .Im pretty sure if you had a religion as well, you wouldnt take to kindly about someone ripping apart your beleifs and putting them into a game where it isnt even right.

In fact, this draws upon the omitted Book of Enoch, taken from the original scrolls that comprised your Bible and considered non-canon as was its character. Enoch, the grandfather of Noah, who would become Metatron: hence the title.

As a christian myself, I think it's wonderful that they would make a game about something like the Book of Enoch, and represent it through such a beautiful and ethereal art style. I don't find the game offensive at all, in fact I'm happy that they're portraying religion in a positive light.

The "Book of Enoch"'s are not considered to be canon, but Enoch himself is in the Bible. In fact, the intrigue behind Enoch is probably due to the fact that he seems extremely important but is barely mentioned. Somewhere in Genises there's a little timeline going, and then all of a sudden someone (Enoch) gets carried away to Heaven in a chariot of flames to live with God and his angels. Not much else is said, and nothing like that ever happens again.

Seems the New Age and those Age of Aquarius gents still want to shove us inside that book of Enoch thing on our heads. The complete lack of regard the japanese have for christianism and that "curiosity" for the apocriphae books (or anything that looks equivocally christian because it has a winged human on it) allows them to just place whatever their imaginations find best for selling.
