Yes he lifted his feet but if you spent any time on the ice you would know that if he didn't, he himself would've been knocked down at that momentum. Look again, at where his skates came off the ice & where they landed. He had no choice but to lift his feet otherwise they both would've been splattered. Also, pay atention to how it went down, Marchand had just evaded the other defencemen, & was vulnerable. Subban saw this & instead of putting his shoulder to him, he turned. The hit was clean.
