I have a story to tell. Sept. 1970 I had just come home from the war. Took whole family to Capitol Raceway in Crofton MD to see all gasser meet, well because I'm a Ford man. All the big names were there, but only one Ford powered car, the Malco gasser. No spots no runouts. All the other AA/GS cars were running 9:03 to 9:20s. This car was running 8:40, 8:39 consistantly. Guess what was under the hood. SOHC Ford Hemi the beastmaster motor. Ford rulled that night. Ohio George won the meet.
