Try making it in the reverse pattern or curve the tips forward to get a lower flight .try slightly longer wings . Add little taped washers for 30-40 more feet . Looks good !

Yeah maybe i'll paint it pink like Patrick star Haha:) Goofy characters, my elder kids and I have a good laugh sometimes over spongebob.

A good comic rang.

This ply is light, so it matches the rang.

I tried from 5 mm birch, but it's almost too heavy it seems.

Maybe thinner ply reduces the weight.

Hey that's a pretty nice one. Kinda reminds me of Patrick star on Sponge bob square pants. Do you know who I'm talking about? You could even paint it to look like him.
