my dad told me that we curve our qeej upwards towards the sky to show the chinese that nomatter wat they do to us we will always stay strong.. and he told me that the hmong that r still in china dont curve there qeejs upward becouse a long time ago the chinese banded that..couse curving the qeej would be an insult to them.. they wanted to keep our peolpe under them.. something like that...
