Foot-speed as fast as Haye's??????? I don't know about that one!! This is really one of those fights where we will only have an idea of how this is going to go once we are a few rounds in. If I was I pushed for a prediction I'd say that Wlad will catch Haye enough times to cut him above or around the eye, slowing him down around the 6-7th round resulting in Haye being unable to force the knockout and losing it on points. Lets hope not though for the sake of boxing.

Haye will knock him out early but not necessarily because Haye fights outside the system, but rather the fact that Wlad cannot fight on the retreat and against a quick footed fighter like Haye who will be out of range for most of the fight, coming into range just to cause damage (ambush tactics) wlad will be exposed. Wlad's footwork when under pressure is the problem

Ilked Dwyer's analysis but I bet on Klit by decision because when he described ambush fighters i figured haye would be hanging back and then jumping in only when he thought he had a chance and there weren't very many of them. Haye swung for the bleachers a few times but in the end he struck out. Klit kept him at bay with that jab and the shoulder defence and Dwyer was right. Klit had much better footwork than I realized.

I agree with you that while Wlad was born with a fighters body - a fighters mind? No! Having said that he's improved. And Steward has improved Wlad's confidence immensely. Remember, Wlad picked himself up off the Canvas 3 times against Peter to get a UD. Fighters rarely change that much, though and I don't think Wlad will suddenly be taking punches and still throwing leather like Vitali. @andrelebaron as much as i want wlad to break his face i think you're misreading this. Wlad's success has been built on him keeping his distance with superior footwork. Unfortunately, one way Wlad tries to keep his distance is by jabbing then back-tracking in a straight line. If you move backwards in a straight line (rather than sidewards to get out of range) you're a sitting duck. Haye's feet are faster than Wlad's, so when he's chasing to get on the inside Wlad will panic (like he always does)

Dwyer cont--- Thus why many opponents consider him alot faster than they though.  If you combine this with the size and experience advantage I believe Wladimr will take this. As far as Wladimir's power not carrying. Check out the Ray Austin fight. He lept in there and ko'd him with a power shot. Also check out his earlier fights. It's just his more reserves style since Steward took over and his chess like mindset that gives that illusion typically.

Dwyer, very interesting what you said about the difference between Emanuel Stewart and Adam Booth's system, but you should know that Vladimir gave an interview recently in which he described his work with Stewart in exactly the way that you described Booth's system. Emanuel tailors the system to the fighter not the other way. Vladimir said that he just tweaks what Vladimir already does to enhance it.
