Usually most cool ideas for reality TV shows seem to come out of Britain. It's great to see an inspired home-grown show like this.

All I could picture when I first heard of this CBC series was a bunch of hockey players trying to not look too clumsy... and failing. But after catching a glimpse in the series' 3rd week, I've eaten my words. They've all been surprisingly good and some have made me eat my earlier words. I was never a fan of Lemieux as a player, but he so impresses me in these routines. All have been great and these remaining 4 couples should make the remaining episodes well worth planning my schedule around.

I wouldn't have expected Claude to pick up the hydroblading for the first routine. I expected that Shae Lynn would try to put in but I didn't expect it in Week 1. It looked awesome!

Thanks for Posting! I was in Toronto and got to see the shows and rehearsal on Sat. Claude can do a credible waltz jump, but I think we'll mostly just see show/dance lifts, glides and the like. Takes too long to learn freeskating skills, but what a good job they did with choreographing the skills these guys already have. And coping with toepicks to boot!
