There is only one Belle, Kirsten Storms and only one Shawn, Jason Cook. The three other actors that "portrayed" them were ridiculous, imo, in the parts. I hope one day they bring Jason & Kirsten back (apparently EVERYONE BUT DAYS realizes their chemistry and appeal, even GH) and have them pick up where they left off right before Jan kidnapped Shawn. Everything that happened with them after that was so screwed up, it didn't even seem anything like the same characters.

@sweetness483 Totally agree. Martha and Brandon weren't horrible IMO, but they weren't Jason and Kirsten. It ended up being a good thing Jason left actually, because he ended up reunited with Kirsten on GH where the chemistry is still there in spades. :) Just wish GH would utilize it more. Martha had better chemistry with Brandon IMO. But, I agree. After Kirsten left, DOOL was never the same. After Jason left, it all went downhill. The characters changed too much and were so OOC.

I CAN'T STAND him whatsoever and I think Matt/Maxie are far more interesting together and better suited for each other. I've hated Spinelli for years and Maxie deserves SO MUCH better than him. She's too good for him.

Her gestures in the 0:55 to 1:03 segment are laughable, not to mention her dreadful line readings and voice that makes Kristin Chenoweth sound hoarse in comparison. @CharmedDoxie The problem I had with MM's Belle too really had nothing to do with her acting. I thought she was decent, but TPTB changed the character way too much. She was drippy and whiny like you said and looked way too old. If Kirsten hadn't left, I doubt Phelle orShimi would have happened and we definitely never would have gotten Belle cheating on Shawn with Philip. Jason and Kirsten had and still have one of a kind chemistry.

Watch Phillips eyes go back and forth from Belle to Jan just before she falls. It makes me think they had re-shot the same scene all day and he was waiting for his queue. That same scene was probably shot some 50-times and Charity still screwed it up.

Martha was pretty good though. She did a decent job with what she was given and how the character was being written. She actually COULD act, although she was no Kirsten Storms. Charity was just an abomination. I seriously thought it was a joke. How could anyone call that acting? It was painful.
