it is. it is very intence and fun and when it lifts you where your facing the ground in the station, it makes a cool noise like in movies or something.

manta isnt really that fast..i went on it..and it wasnt that good to me..i expected better from a B&M flying coaster..and the pretzel loop isnt hat intense....superman and tatsu's is better..

so overall manta is a 2/5 for me

the layout is good...the speed is average...and the pretzel loop is only good depending where u sit on....i was sitting on 3rd row the first time i went on it...so thats y i said it sucked..but then i sat in Last row..and it felt way faster and more intense..

Just got back from orlando this morning. This roller is amazing! Its not meant to open till memorial day but we've been riding it for the last two weeks! Much better than the kraken! :D

I rode it today, and let me say it is amazing,

the only loop, is extremely strong, and there are several parts that you feel you're going to crash head on into the water or a wall...

at some poiints it feels like you're actually flying..

No, Anheuser Busch parks don't have soft openings. Typically, there will be a media day where VIP's (mainly roller coaster club members, TV and radio personalities, and some mid to high profile local celebrities) will be invited to ride it before it opens to the public. The media event is typically held the day before the official opening. I hope my club gats invited.

It might be smarter to go a few days later, since the park attendance might be up, and Manta will be busier, but if you go on the opening day of Manta, more people will be on that ride then any of the others, which means there could be shorter lines. I would still go a few days later though. It's up to you.

Actually this ride is nothing like Dueling Dragons at all. You're not lying down on Dueling Dragons. This ride looks awesome. Def going to put Sea World Orlando on the same par as Universal...well ok maybe not. Almost though.

Actually, JTA is classified as a "Water Coaster" being that it's part log flume and roller coaster. Also it's now the oldest existing water coaster in the world since Buzzsaw Falls at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO completely reconfigured the ride and removed the water portion. JTA as also been ranked in the top five for Best Water Ride in the World as well.
