ehh... i think the remake is gonna be a killer. when the anniversary of final fantasy series poll came out to see what's there next goal, a massive fans requested that they what a FFVII remake. with that much demand, they're gonna have to make a remake that's better than ever. especially the graphics. i believe the story won't change, maybe just the graphics.

hmm... idk. well, you know the other old school final fantasy remakes (I-IV). the game play is just the same and the same story, just that they changed the graphics and added new secret dungeons and monsters. hmmm either that or they're gonna break away from old-school and truly revitalize it. you can tell, starting from ffx-2 and onwards, that the game play is changing and becoming more real-time. ffxiii is gonna try to mimic advent children fight scenes.

If Square is going to do a remake then they HAVE to have all the original team members remaking the game. Personally I don't want a remake because they might destroy a masterpiece as I always said, but if so then they HAVE to have the originals. Crisis Core was fine to have another team (if they did) but when it comes to FFVII I won't accept.  Also if so for a remake then Nobou would be best for recomposing orchrasted verisons of all the music of FFVII if that is needed to be done.

If a FFVII remake comes out, I could see a series of different versions of this track being played in a sort-of progressive order. Like during the first couple of times this song plays, it would be the original FFVII version, then the next couple would be the one from Crisis Core, then the last time it would play it would be the orchestral version. That's how I might see this track in a FFVII remake.

I don't see a remake coming, at least not anytime soon. I mean, most of the characters, locales, music, and monsters have already been remade in the following games and such, like AC, where they gained awesome CG status and massive graphic overhauls. Plus they got voices.

In DoC and CC, more characters got voices, monsters were upgraded, and many memorable locations were rendered in much better quality. Odds are, they won't be remaking 7. It'd be cool if they did, but it'd be impractical.
