  • These bootlegs show some hard truths. Moon and Entwistle generated excitement like no other Rhythm Section, before or since. Daltrey and Townshend worked harder because of it. They all pushed each other and kept pushing. Mix some great writing with that kind of hard work and this is what you get. The music industry should try finding some of that instead of these prefabricated, pitch corrected wonders they keep pushing. Their sales might improve.
