@BeauJames59 You are quite right to say this. I was miked for this concert and it ironed out all the tonal nuances that we guitarists spend years developing. The effect is somewhat brittle and staccato to boot. Still, at least they could hear me. The acoustics in the theatre were very dry and an unmiked guitar would have died horribly.
