  • You can hear those props out of sync, i always hated that noise

  • Uneven road<<<(basically any bump will make that prop hit the ground), a curve not a problem, oh wait look at my left lol!..... u got b@lls and u is a crazy good pilot!!

  • that's *maybe* 4.5 degrees.....

  • Is that E from entourage flying that plane?

  • wich kind of plane is it.

  • not only you have to deal with a narrow road that at any moment might have a animal or a deaf person, you even have a curve to deal with.... These guys are the BEST !!!!

  • Plenty of room look'at'dat.

  • I like the grave yard of the ones that did not make the trip just before he topped the treees

  • have seen 737's take off quicker

  • This is not normal! Are you doped up on valium or what? Respect!

  • Ladies and gentlemen, if you look to the left you can see the planes that didn't make it on this runway.

  • in 500 feet, left turn, then V1 and rotate. your destination is above.

  • geil

  • @CommonRaven hahahaha you suck

  • co-pilot: straight into easy left, rotate

  • That aint 45 degrees, and thats not that crazy of a take off. There are crazier takeoffs and landing happening in the world. take a look at Paro,Bhutan, they do some crazy shit with an A320 AIRLINER FULL OF PASSENGERS!! or courcheval France.

  • @youngfart40 How about landing/taking off from a sandbar in the middle of a river in Alaska?

  • @Jackle61 not as impressive

  • Lukla... what?

  • that is no 45 degree turn

  • @fellowman27 45 degrees Celsius... lol

  • what plane is that ?

  • @10001startrek10001 LET 410. The NGOs banned landing there low. I never went in personally but when I used to fly 206s up to the Congo most guys said they went in daily! I Think the LET crews were polish but don't hold me to that.

  • hello A OK

  • Wait until you see the lading.

  • Looks kinda shady ... illegal

  • @matmanism

what's illegal about it? just another day of flying in africa.

  • And I thought all the small plane fun was in remote areas of Alaska!

  • A pilot I want flying the plane I'm on no questions asked.

  • Great piloting skills

PS. They have better roads in Congo than we have here in Poland...

  • No way Crazzy pilot...

  • Tres impresionnante video et surtout quand il amtame un leger virage au sol en pleine vitesse alors qu'il y avait un sacret risque que son aile droit touche les arbres. Magnifique pilote!En tous cas, il est vachement experimente!! Bravo encore

  • where is this?

  • @bigben1986

Congo (as said in the description).

  • He is even passing through a curve on take off. Amazing ! Those bush pilot´s must have been born with oversized balls instead of an nervous system !! ;-)

  • BALLS!!!! Thats the one word that describes this video and pilot!

  • As we can see L-410 is really good machine :-)

  • WOW that is cool!

  • That pilot is skilled :P

  • Notice all the crashed junk just before lift off.......

  • @avionicswirenut That is not crashed junk, those are parked Antonov AN-2's :-)

  • @CaptainKrimson I guess they are parked ......

  • XD

  • Coke package has been send!!!

  • Super Crazy !!!!

  • man! they just skimmed the trees there! nice video!

  • LOL 666 likes

  • As my instructor used to say : "KEEP ON THE BLOODY CENTERLINE!"

  • Here is a little more info on this air shuttle service aka Walikale express:

    youtube.com/watch?v=O1FQmUQ1-mM

  • That plane off to the side is what happens if you don't take off. :)

  • Shit Balls

  • u would get some nice € flying flights from Colombia to Miami...

  • I guess it's an illegal landing in the brousse of eastern DR Congo.

They took a plane to avoid checkpoints on the road in the battle zone.

Just loaded his plane with blood diamonds, coltan or gold.

In return he probably delivered weapons or beer to the warlords in the region.

But still a crazy take off!

  • i wanna see the landing !!

  • @yoyaya007 And here is a landing part:

    youtube.com/watch?v=_MW5F7xGmx8

  • @sun3000 thanks !

  • a curving runway. wooow

  • that was NOT sharp,

and was NOT a 45 degree turn

i'll admit it wouldn't be easy at all but it was not sharp and it was like 15 degrees at most

  • non ci si crede, alla fine della "stradina" c'erano alcuni rottami di aerei che probabilmente non erano riusciti a decollare in precedenza!!!

    questi "bush" pilot!!!

    :D

  • hahaha!

I´ve never seen something crazy like that hahahaha!

    Was he landing too?

  • That's what I drem about.

  • In republic of Congo, Road fly Plane.

  • There are old pilots and bold pilots, but no old, bold pilots.

Not that you can't do that stuff with practice and without being bold.

  • piece of cake, I wanna see him do it on 40 plus gusting crosswind

  • Please tell me someone out there prays for this pilot. A lot!

  • what plane is this?

  • @snoopyloopy It's an LET-410.

  • nuts!!!

  • ridiculous, i would NEVER attempt that in my life lol, not on that road.

  • This is what 'next level' piloting is all about....We did this a couple of times in a C-130...Gotta do what you gotta do!

  • @moondogman

    go away, you bloated moron

  • Amazing skill - when your only "runway" has a curve in it!!!

  • That's one crazy take-off....good thing he cleared the trees!

  • very nice take off

  • The planes at 0:50 are they the ones that didn't make the turn?

  • what is the aircraft?

  • @LANOSJ

    Let-410

  • How the hell do you land there?

  • Wow! That's too cool!

  • that pilot got balls

  • pretty cool but that looks not even close to a 45 degree turn

  • autofeather on please

  • best runway ever!

  • omygeeee!!

  • wow!!!

  • WOW that was cool.

  • grug carrier

  • Not much of a STOL aircraft

  • what type are those 2 planes near the houses?

  • @AntonioSantiago Antonov AN2 I think

  • @lovegarbage Thanx

  • @AntonioSantiago The other looks like the remains of a tri-motor, perhaps Fokker or Ford?

  • @lovegarbage Thanxs man.,.would love to be there to see them in person then!

  • And... the landing ???? xD

  • What aircraft is it ?

  • @ARKIEX

    It's AN-28

  • @gajowy26m

    Russian Pilots ?

  • @Alottaponies That's exactly what I was thinking!!

  • GOOD YOU Made it very good or something ... I dont know

  • absolute madness

  • thats fucken awesome

  • wow that was crazy .. i hope a A380 can land there nah im just kidding

  • Hey how surprising, white guys going to Africa and arsing around. Times really have changed, haven't they?

  • One of the Coolest Take Offs I have ever seen. Just wondering at 0:46 if the Plane wouldn't have been air-borne then what ? ;-)

  • did he just turn along the road way? wow thats a true pilot man!!!! i wonder if i ll ever have the guts to do it and im thinking provably not, unless of course nessesary, but again could i do it? again i dont think so........

  • Well, it's no wonder they try to take-off from anywhere flat, after all, who wouldn't want to get out of a shithole like Congo. :P

  • how does he negotiate that turn at 1:32?

  • Those are real pilots

  • fuck dude - how awesome is that

  • damn whoever flew that thing has got some guts!!!!!!!!

  • i bet they're Russians

  • WTF???

  • I think this flight company is on the blacklist?:D

  • congratulations, grait video, grait let.

  • I like the cornered take off!!!

  • Holy crap! That is some flying!! Awesome!

  • Not a lot of clearence between the plane and trees i guess.

  • Holy Shit!Fuck that!

  • look out for the rhino's

  • Fantastic video!

I'm guessing the suspension on the one side needs to be replaced more frequent than the other :p

  • lol is that wreckage of other planes that couldn't pull it off.

  • Wow, this is awesome.

    What aircraft is this?

Excellent video and great piloting skills

  • better try with 777-300ER :D

  • They are Russians!

  • is it a trailer of the new james bond film?

  • lol he actually turned the corner

  • ...SPEECHLESS

  • You are talking about the An-2 that is staying at right hand side of the street??

In the jungle they use often the Let-410 like in this video.

  • nice car!

  • I was glad he didn't have to take that left hand bend on lol!

  • LETS ROCKKKKK!! this is real AIR AMERICA!!

  • Not crazy, it's just his job

  • Haha, he's driving a car! :D

  • absolutely crazy !!!

  • @liiitche you said that right

  • @cruisemate, definitely not fake mate!

I have seen a lot of runways in my life but never with a corner in the middle!

    Amazing video, well done! 5/5

  • Why ? No airport ? what is that plane 0:49 ? It looks like ww2 plane. This must be fake.... It is to crayzy !

  • Those, my friend, are two Antonov An-2s :-)

  • No fake and thats an An-2 russian plane

  • It's called a prop plane. You do know that people still fly those, right? The description said that the road was turned into a temporary runway.

  • I already got my answer. It is An-2. Russian built planes. first flight in 1947 so my ww2 guess was not so off after all... only 2 years !!!! :-)

  • Crazy Pilots Taking off from Congo small road free at W W W . TV-Video . us

  • Not crazy but very daring... awesome video

  • Comment removed

  • i wonder where they'll it!

    HEHE

    LOL

  • i wonder of you can take a MiG-21 empty loaded or an F-16 and take off before the curve.....

  • "sharp 45" well 45 is not sharp and I would give it a 15 or 20 at most. However highly unusual.

  • welcome to mexico international!

  • what's the name of this airport?

  • @rillopo

its not an airport its a road. Look at it again, where he is just lifting off, you see the road beds again and continues with cars on it.... This beyond third World.

  • how could they turn the plane during the take off roll?

  • It is quite common in most any aircraft to alter heading during the take off roll with either toe brakes or rudder (the rudder will obviously work with sufficient speed but the toe brakes will work at any speed). The only exceptions I can think of is on some of the Eurocoupes with gangable rudder and ailerons. Everything I've flown has/had toe brakes and a tricycle gear.

  • The Piper Cub has heel brakes (yes, upsetting for folks who just fly regular spamcans).

Also, how many take-offs do you fly where you alter heading during the roll? I don't mean once you rotate to account for wind...

Guessing as well you're talking about the Ercoupe?

  • Ya know, the Cub etc was more or less exactly what I was thinking of. Yeah, all my PIC time is in non-talent (tongue in cheek) tricycles but a few friends I did off-field operations with in a tail-dragger - wow..I was amazed at how they'd alter as much as 30 degrees to miss weeds/trees (or only hit the "little ones" on a short-soft t/o. Yes, the only altering I would do on a regular basis is for wind corrections. The tower guys frowned when I straddled the purty white R/W lights on a C/W T/O
