  • you are very good at the organ. when i was in kindergarden i took piano lessons until 11th grade and pipe organ lesson in high school at my church.

  • All Glory, laud and honor, to Thee, Redeemer, King! With whom the lips of children made sweet hosannas ring! Thou art the King of Israel, thou David's royal Son, who in the Lord's name comest, the King and blessed One!

I am remembering what we remember and celebrate this holy week.

  • Absolutely fantastic!! Wonderful! I am a church organist myself and you gave me goosebumps. I'm playing this on Sunday accompanied by a trumpet. My son is being confirmed and this is such a glorious hymn!

  • @bill15017 Right, another one we sing during the procession in our Anglican cathedral is "Laudate omnes gentes".

  • I have one question organpipe8, what is the accompaniment you use for this hymn? I only know the melody line for hymns and I want to know how you do the accompaniments, because they seem a little hard for me, could you PM me if it's easier for tips?

  • I'm watching this on the afternoon of Palm Sunday 2009. What a great old hymn. You definitely do it justice. Happy Easter!

  • This hymn sounds beautiful, I'd love to hear the words to it. It reminds me of a tune which might be played just a church congregation is leaving or arriving. That's what happens at my local Church.

  • TheYoungConfessor:

All Glory Laud and Honor, to you Redeemer King; to whom the lips of children made sweet Hosanna's Ring!

You are the king of Israel and David's royal son; and mortals joined with all things created make reply.

  • Blessings to you and thank you for giving us all this wonderful gift - you play just like the organist did in the church I grew up in. The right way! ha ha... I play by ear and don't spend nearly enough time at the keyboard... but you have inspired me. And I thank you. I thank God for you. :)
