I had a Fiero as well as the Mr2 and wow what a pile that pontiac was. Handled like a wet sponge wrapped in a Chevy Citation. Garbage interior that looked like dried human skin. Fiero may look ok but thats it, I would take the Mr2 any day over the plastic orphan 2 seater.

Nice. Stock internals? I thought the 1MZ only liked 3-4 pounds from the TRD on factory spec (I know its over built but the 3VZ allegedly like the boost more without bottom end / piston interference. Sweet project though :)
Running forged Wisecos for a turbo Honda H22. Comp ratio around 8.5. The stock pistons broke after 250 miles at 4psi (too much timing). 1mz is non-interference plus its all alloy.
Home built the whole deal, exhaust is a camaro flowmaster two and a half inch in and outs. Psi is around 8 or 9, not sure on the ponys. Hope to get it on the dyno next summer.

Nice! I got a supercharged Solara that pulls pretty good. I can't imagine being 700+lbs light. What pulley do you have? I'm at 5.5psi
