  • This is happening because TSA can't profile. They have to treat everyone the same. Obviously this woman poses no threat, but if a radical Muslim shows up with what appears to be play-doh, they do pose a threat. Can't say, "lady, you're ok, but that other guy isn't."

  • TSA are a domestic enemy to the US. The US people should take action against said domestic enemies.

  • Screeners discretion???? HA!!

  • I am a college student and worried about bringing my fish home now.

  • The saddest thing is that the only thing Americans can do is complain. The government will not help you, because it is the one that empowers the TSA and endorse what they are doing. And whomever replaces Obama, if he is not elected the second term will only continue down the same path as he did. So basically, complaining is like screaming in a vacuum……they see your mouth open but they will not hear you.

  • What mother would allow a child to use Play Doh on a filthy, germ-filled plane, then take it home? The same mother that hands the child's pacifier or rattle to him after he throws it on the ground I'm guessing. Disgusting.

  • @reymatt76 How the heck are you going to judge a mom for trying to make the flight a nice one for her son (...and the other passengers as well) by letting him bring his play-doh!?? she's not disgusting, SHE'S just like any mom who tries to make it less stressful for her kid to fly. Have you ever taken a flight in which theres a noisy, restless kid????

  • @SmartandHotMomOf3 Yeah sure let your kid play with funky germ-filled filthy play doh and bring it into your house. That's on you, not me. Do you know how much filth and germs is on a plane? Nasty.

  • They forgot to mention that is was the holiday season and the minimum wage goon that confiscated it didn't have money to get his child a christmas gift because he spend all his money on dope.. SHAZAM.... I bet his kid got some new playdoh for xmas!!

  • they the fuck is she talking playdoe on a plane. Like use your fucking sense. Not saying tsa are right but really. what a teddy bear or hard toy couldn't do it for the child. playdoe?! really!

  • I take playdough on every flight, it entertains my brothers(5 and 11) and I(13) for whole flights. They still let it by on the west coast.

  • Come on everyone knows that a box cutter was hidden in that three year old white child's play-doh. We have to stop these young terrorists from blowing up our planes!

  • I can't emphasize it enough that TSA has been exposed as a very costly "dog and pony" show. TSA has hired illegal aliens/felons/gang members that tag and cross each other out inside secure areas of the airport. These employees are NOT SCREENED AT ALL! Pilots, leo's, even district attorney's have come forward in mass to reveal the criminality...yet the show goes on. Monies wasted on showmanship for harassing travelers and even pilots and crew.

Seems there is no one in authority who's honest.

  • The tsa should not have taken the play doh away. However, the play doh can make a huge mess and can be very difficult to clean up. The best place to use it is on a kitchen table. Just saying.

  • YEAH I BEAT WHEN THEY SAID NO! ,they through it in the trash bin ,beside them ,....now,... if i worked at this job ,i wouldnt be throwing ,some thing that might be dangerous in a bin , they fucking know there is nothing wrong with it ,this is a complete joke ,and the sooner people wake up, and stop being idiots the better!

  • I'd still bring the Pay-Doh and if asked I'd say its for a friends child.

  • I plan on taking some Play-Doh with me on my next flight to see tsa's response.

I will also pack a copy of their rules in case they don't know them.

    Lets see what happens!

  • @bajajoes1 NICE IDEA ME TOO!!!!!! but i will not bring play doh because that will look weird what do u think i should bring?

  • @bajajoes1 What happens is you may be asked to surrender the play-doh. If you fail to do that, you'll make a scene, miss your flight and cause dozens, if not hundreds of passengers behind you, to miss theirs, all because you want to challenge the rule that you knew about before boardiing the flight. Best thing is just to take your car, that's what I do because of these bullshit rules.

  • aawwwwwwwww...lol

  • This is simple: When you purchase a ticket to travel on a commercial airline there is a contract. An exchange of consideration. Your money for the ticket. The TSA is a third party interloper and because of its arbitrary definitions of words decides that you can't execute your contract with the airline they are interfering with your right to contract. Perhaps it's time for a Class Action (air travelers are a class) against the TSA for interference of contract because that's exactly what it is.

  • @AceOfHeart2012

Too bad the majority of America are a bunch scared sheeps.....

    :(

  • Wow, the TSA is not that bright. I bet the terrorists are laughing at this point.

  • I feel so safe now that the TSA has taken that kids play doh away...
