Am I the only one thinkg that this would make a neat light show if say you did this to a REALLY large plasma TV... (Now if only I could find say a 100in TV!)
Epic video, aussie50 rocks!! A surprising look inside the plasma when the glass broke! I thought mercury and phosphor juice would start seeping out, wasn't expecting solid stuff In the glass!!!!
Yeah i somewhat expected too the phosphor dust getting airborne. I guess there's just a minute amount of Mercury vapor in there, not in liquid state anywhere. I've read they are using inkjet technologies for plasmas and some other types, so it may explain why the phosphors stay there solidly.
Hey dude, love your videos! I've got a quick question, how do you generate the AC input voltage for the MOT or any transformer you want to use? To you use a small DC supply with some transistors? Cheers.
This was an early Christmas present :D Christmas in 2 hours 16 minutes in Queensland. And Ed I know you are into the heavy metal, Are you going to the Soundwave in Melbourne?
yeah you did just make a skyrim reference. "face palm"
