@danielkachal about 18 yrs later they decided to destroy those documents and give a temporary one instead;))iranian gov has not supoorted afghans financially till now all been provided by UN, khomeini was smart enough to negotiate this with UN from the beginning ,beside whoever has been born in any country has the residency except iran;)))))

BTW as i know, afghans are paid buy iranian not UN, for example, we had 5 afghan workers in our family garden and we paid them , we paid for their food and for their place.. and the only thing that they was gathering money and sending them to Afghanistan.. they also sometimes stole each others money or ours

TetsuoNL, whilst I understand the point you are making, you clearly don't understand the war in Afghanistan at all. It's not about occupation, or Osama Bin Laden, it's about the Taliban, who rule over the country like tyrants and breed suicide bombers like rats. If you want to be safe in Europe and want Afghans to prosper then we need to beat the Taliban.

These guy's won't be destroyed that easy there doing this for a life style for over generations. Our army isn't gonna change that fact. And still you can support afghan en fight Taliban without having troops stationed inside the country.

TetsuoNL, maybe you understand it better than I thought. I hear what you are saying and the troops there are doing their best to help train local Afghan soldiers, but they need all the technical aid the US & Europe can provide.
Whilst you may be right about the Taliban hanging on longer, certainly history is on your side there, I am somewhat more hopeful that they are really getting pulverized and local opinion is moving against them.

Iranian people are people who live in the Iranian plateau.
Every iranian stick has an own culture, look and language. But all of them speak an iranian language like Dari,farsi,kurdi and....
That`s why we have choosen in 1935 for the name Iran instead of persia.
Cuz Persian`s are also a part of iranian people like another sticks.
But you Afghan`s are still looking for names like arianna and khorasan that never has existed as a country to replace Iran. Afgan means literally pashtun.

first of all, Afghan does not allways mean who is from Afghanistan.....
Etnithicie and Nationality are 2 differrent things. Millions of Tajiks are also living outside of Tajikistan, so it doesnt mean that all tajiks are from Tajikistan.
And socond yes Pashtuns belong to iranian or iranic people. All people who live in iranian plateau or speak an iranian language belong actualy to iranian people and Pashtun is an iranian (not persian) language.

@Human0037 wel your confused and wrong. afghanistan is called after pashtoons they were the conquerer of the that place . pashtoon means afghan. tajiks uzbeks and then much later mongols which means hazaras all came to afghanistan as regugies they were accepted as afghans. they are very much united under that one flag and they are all afghans like me.
