This reminds me of my Uncle's Homegoing, after my mom sang the choir was to sing and when my Aunt and Cousin got up to sing I was in awe that God is still good and even in the midst of our grief he deserves praise.
@HeavenBoundCOGIC My daddy's home going service was the same way. My daddy was our bishop, brother is the organist and I the director of the choir. I thought we wouldn't be able to minister, but our daddy's father in the ministry asked us to sing my daddy's favorite song Safe In His Arms in tribute. All I can say is God showed up and showed out! I have never seen people praise at a home going service! We shouted up and down that church like it was Sunday service! Bless His name!!!
all i can say is wow Dr. Sapp is a strong man like my daddy im 29yrs old and i had never seen my dad cry but when my mom died at the beginning of 2010 that was the fist time i seen him cry and i couldn't contain myself, i broke down:(. After 42yrs of marriage i miss my mom and five moths after my mom died my grandmother (my dads mother) died. so you can imagine what 2010 was like for us. But i know we serve a GREAT GOD! And he wouldn't more on us than we can bare with that said i love u JESUS!

I saw Dr. Sapp once when he came to Fairfiled, Ca to sing at Mt. Calvary Baptist Chruch.
Now this is a true story, it was a very hot day, I'm talking 3 digits. A fire broke out that literally surrounded the church. Dr. Sapp continued to stand and sing. I was very anxious and wanted to get up and go like so many others did, but i didn't get up, my husband said trust God

@losdodgerz - Healing doesn't have to occur on earth! Sometimes it has to occur by going home to be with God! It doesn't mean that some1 lacked faith! Let me give u an ex..... when you typed yo msg, u used yo computer right? What if all of a sudden yo screen went blank & u couldn't repair it; what wud u do? Just let it sit? No, u wud get some1 to repair it (hospital) or u wud return it to it's maker (God) 4 repairs. Well, just know this, Mrs. Sapp was returned to her "Maker" 4 repairs!

As I watch this (and I do many times a day) I always wonder what kind of spirit is in Jesse Jackson. He's on the pulpit, but there is this stoic nature about him, and he moves to the left to make sure no one is standing in front of him completely void of emotion. I can feel the spirit and annointing at home, how can he not give God praise???? Does he look like someone filled with the Holy Ghost??? Tell me what you think...maybe it's just me.

This song blessed and still continues to bless me every time I hear it. My God is awesome and faithful. I am not concerned about those that dislike the song or the video. This song helped me get through one of the toughest spots of my life. With God, and the encouraging truthful song, I made it through. And I'm still standing with a testimony that God is the keeper and protector of my soul, heart, and mind. God bless the writer, but mostly Jonathan Dunn, he ministered this song.

I have never felt as moved and touched by a song as this one has done. To praise god and still stand when you are faced with a loss so painful - is remarkable. Faith unshaken... I can only pray that i can hold on when i am faced with such and not give the devil a foothold in my life. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord for Marvin Sap and the miniitry of song you've blessed him with. Not even the devil can stop him from praising you in the midst of his pain.

I first heard this song in the middle of a storm that I was going through. The Lord blessed me and ministered to me and I was blessed through my storm. I love the Lord so much and I am so thankful and appreciative fo how the Lord has rescued me from the darkness of my life. After all this mess here I am still standing and breathing and its was because of the Lord's mercy and grace.

This reminds me of my Uncle's Homegoing, after my mom sang the choir was to sing and when my Aunt and Cousin got up to sing I was in awe that God is still good and even in the midst of our grief he deserves praise.

@HeavenBoundCOGIC My daddy's home going service was the same way. My daddy was our bishop, brother is the organist and I the director of the choir. I thought we wouldn't be able to minister, but our daddy's father in the ministry asked us to sing my daddy's favorite song Safe In His Arms in tribute. All I can say is God showed up and showed out! I have never seen people praise at a home going service! We shouted up and down that church like it was Sunday service! Bless His name!!!

all i can say is wow Dr. Sapp is a strong man like my daddy im 29yrs old and i had never seen my dad cry but when my mom died at the beginning of 2010 that was the fist time i seen him cry and i couldn't contain myself, i broke down:(. After 42yrs of marriage i miss my mom and five moths after my mom died my grandmother (my dads mother) died. so you can imagine what 2010 was like for us. But i know we serve a GREAT GOD! And he wouldn't more on us than we can bare with that said i love u JESUS!

I saw Dr. Sapp once when he came to Fairfiled, Ca to sing at Mt. Calvary Baptist Chruch.
Now this is a true story, it was a very hot day, I'm talking 3 digits. A fire broke out that literally surrounded the church. Dr. Sapp continued to stand and sing. I was very anxious and wanted to get up and go like so many others did, but i didn't get up, my husband said trust God
