Chris's words Glen's music , second to none , when I see people like U2 , Robbie Williams Take That etc I realise that your average person is'nt really into music . I've seen Squeeze at least 20 times , they are always amazing live . Can you imagine Bono or Robbie Williams doing an acoustic gig alone , no chance .
glenn has to be on par one of the best live performers, ive followed him doing his solo shows for about 5 years and the first gig i went to the guy just came and sat in the chair next to me, asked what i would like to hear, taking aback by it all i could get out my mouth was black coffee in bed and my god he rocked it standing on my table. i lost my pint of smiths but it was worth every minute.
@bababooey666 Lennon and McCartney weren't really a team like this pair. They tended to write their own songs, where Squeeze collaborated more. They're the better team. :)
This is just sublime BTW. I'm eagerly looking forward to the December gigs.
Hate to be a sadsack, but this song so reminds me of my very first boyfriend who died in '98. He introduced me to SQUEEZE back in '81. I was 19, he was 21. Hard to listen to SQUEEZE anymore without getting choked up.
@Deshard62 I can imagine that a beautiful love song like this chokes you up again and again. The same could happen when you play Aztec Camera - Somewhere In My Heart or The Rembrands - Just the way it is.
Your very firust boyfriend... So he didn't become your husband?
Just saw them in September in NYC at Radio City Music Hall; big auditorium, holds almost 6,000 and appeared to be close to sold out. So awesome, they definitely rocked.
What the hell was going on with the camera work on the solo guessing the cameraman's not a Squeeze fan

God, I love these two so much.
I've seen Glenn live once already, I was right at the front, close enough to touch, he's a spitter bless him LOL.
and I'm seeing Squeeze in December. I'm pretty proud of myself. I've got a few of my friends into Squeeze and I'm 15 :3

Isnt it LETTERS instead of LETTUCE? The next line refers to walk out notes...

@megavega4
Of course its letters but i think he means it sounds like lettuce the way glenn says it
