As for why King roars instead of talking, it's been that way for him and Armor King ever since the first Tekken. I assume Namco just wants King's sounds to match his appearance.

basically, the original armor king got killed by Marduk. a new armor king has arrived and is causing chaos (i.e. attacking people such as marduk). Nobody knows if it's the original AK or an imposter AK. Then king finds this photo. There's your answer. (The photo shows 2 AK's, one son/father or brother/brother, nobodu knows which yet)

i had a whole explanation of how its done, but i accidentally closed the window and lost it.

therefore, its explained because its just a device used for the characters to communicate eachothers language. even kuma, panda, and mokujin. who is a block of wood.

King 2 growls because he wears a panther mask (although it may be an enchanted panther mask) he can infact take it off. he does not show his face even still, as hes a mexican masked wrestler. Armor King II is the same way

No everyone has it all wrong. Armour king is kings mentor int he first 3 tekkens then King dies and armour king trains a new young wrestler to make him like the original king. But then Armour king dies from the hands of craig marduk. But then an imposter appears and attacks marduk. And if you watch marduk and armour kings endings in tekken 5 and 6 it explains more.
