Man it seems like the cops in all major cities suck. I live in a town where you can get the cops called on you and they will just talk to you and let you be. Its a shame that other places aren't like it. Then again there are only about 4 skaters in my town.

I used to skate evs almost everyday through the 90's. Never a problem from cops or museum staff till some dicks ruined it for every1. Everson was the ONLY place you could skate in Syracuse w/o the cops busting you. As long as you didn't skate the sculptures they were cool. Used to be some great skaters and good times there. Dr. Weeks was an awesome spot too (from the looks in this vid all beat up now). I miss bombing the hill from the university down to the everson. Great work on the vid btw. 8)

I miss the days when everson was legal, before all the new shithead skateboarders with no common respect ruined it for the people that were doing it before it was trendy to skateboard.

either way I love the timelapse of the marshal street hill bomb to evs, used to be a common thing to cruise from sunspots to there; I hate to speak of the good old days but that's exactly what they were.

@lalapilew , yes it was legal for years. I started skating in '96 and it was 100% legal until I moved from NY in 2003. It was such an awesome spot for everybody to meet/chill at and then we would just hit up all of the downtown spots (which most are ruined how, i.e. clinton square)
