  • She just got a reward of $2 million from the FBI for turning in Whitey Bulger.Very nice!

  • @MrMoveefan -- unless the date's are wrong, this isn't her. Anna Bjorn was born in 1955, so she would have been about 12 when this was made. I remember that Noxzema did several "take it off" commercials up until the 70s or even the 80s.

  • Isn't it interesting that this actress was the one who turned in the fugitive Whitey Bulger in Santa Monica, CA?

  • What a pleasing blast from the past, but where in the world did you find this?

  • Interesting note: The guy already had a professional shave and there was no blade in the razor.

  • @paulb96007 I have no trouble seeing the humor here:D

  • do i ever remember this old commercial, i remember everytime it came on i would run into the room and start 2 dance 2 it.

  • I'd like to see KARENENG do this as a parody! She's got it! IF you don't know who she is, check out her ch and sub it, great stuff!

  • wow!! how did they get away with this in the '60's!!! lol...they should totally bring this commercial back!!

  • @LMA629 It was so sexy it embarrassed the teen-age me!

  • Funny, I've been using Noxzema shaving cream for years and I've never been approached by a statuesque, gorgeous Swedish blonde.

The "Take It Off" girl was Gunilla Knutson, Miss Sweden for 1961.

  • The name of that "Take it off" music is not Take it off, instead, it's "The Stripper" by David Rose and his orchestra. "The Stripper" by David Rose is one of the greatest hits in music of all time. There is a new version of it by Joe Loss and his orchestra and it's from the 1997 movie of "The Full Monty" where the guys really "Take it ALL OFF"! Men strippers dressed in security guard or police officers ready to strip it all off! Again, David Rose is the original artist for "The Stripper".

  • Classic! I remember seeing this when I was a tyke. It could be edited though. Don't need the woman singing "Noxema Medicated Shave"-the "take it off" was all that it needed
