Best British Aircrafts are the Vulcan and the English Electric Lightning. The noise from these blew any other aircraft away

I saw one of these at the Great New England Airshow in 2008(I think)...Was hands down the loudest jet I have ever heard when it hovers...The crowd was close enough that we could feel the heat.

The AV-8B Harrier II is cool. One awesome v/stol aircraft. Thanks to Hawker and McDonnell Douglas for this great airplane. And to the US Marines who fly it here!
