The PCC Honor Band and the Tournament of Roses are two of Pasadena's great traditions. My father (born in 1925) played in the Rose Parade in the 1940's and I played in Glendora's 1st. Tournament of Roses band in '71. Grand times, those!

Man, I'm glad I got to do this as a senior in high school. A lot of great memories came out of doing this! It was a lot of hard work but wow was it fun. All worth it in the end.

You have to realise that there is a float ahead of us that we had to keep spacing with, and that float moved extremely slow. It's a long 10km when you can't march with a proper 8-5 march step.
