Try using a pair of tweezers for feeding and try to id the bird to discover what's parents would look like Raabia, and then imitate the bird's parents by using a rubber glove or similar. But it's better to leave well alone and place it back where you found it unless it is injured, that's the advice of the authority on birds in the UK. But that depends now on how long the baby has been separated from it's siblings and parents. Good luck my dear friend. xxx
Soak dry cat kibble in a little warm water and then feed. I use the wide end of a woodne chop stick but be careful not to put it down their throats too far. You'll get the hang of it. Keep a bottle with warm water in with them. Wrap it in a small towel. Baby birds need to be kept warm. Hope it helps! I learned from a rehabilitator because I had to take care of these birds over night before I could get them to her. One died (was badly injured) but the other two lived!!
Hi/Jambo Raabia, I don't know if its any help, but usually t the mothers regurgitate food for their chicks. Is it possible to simulate that? . G'luck, & keep on doing the right thing.
Also worth getting dried or live meal worms or real worms/insects, whatever the baby may have been fed in it's natural environment.
