he's "jump canceling", which basically means he jumps off the enemy's head after the attack and then repeats with more attacks/jump cancels. it takes some practice to get the timing down. personally i think it's pretty boring to see somebody jump cancel an enemy to death but it's effective.

It's used to lock on a single target to shoot it/attack it directly, lock on is neccessary for most moves to be performed (for stinger f.ex. you need to lock on, press Forward + Attack). You can either turn its visual effect (which also shows the target'S health) on or off. Turned on it looks like 4 curves around the target, the less it has, the less HP remain.

went i play that dcm 3 again with out no using lock-on n there is no way people can that move 0.35 that bring demon up to air just like stinger move it need lock-on to make that move well of cause kail never use stinger in all mission ss but think again that is no way make that move at time 0.35 or the same of kail must using locked-on or same of that

He's chosing to play without the Lock-On display on the enemy... that's what he means by "No Lock-On"

He's using it be sure of that... he only mentioned that he'll play without having it desplayed (wich makes the game harder, i might add)

Boss fights are nothing to worry about when having a No Lock-On display (coz it's only one enemy)... being surrounded by enemyes during the mission itself, well that's another story.

i don't get it. If kail say no lock on, how can shoot those swords to an enemy lying on the ground??? he must have use lock on, right???

You also can't use a lot of moves without locking on as well. Maybe his idea of no lock on means no lock on reticle (which show enemy health)

He is definitely using lock-on. Just without the recticle.

It becomes obvious while fighting the Reaper, when it flies into the air, Vergil looks up and fires, which he doesn't do unless locked on.
